One week later, Savannah sighed as she drove to work, listening to Hank Snow's "A Fool Such As I" over the radio. She had said goodbye to her wife Lydia, and her two kids, both born daughters, wondering why she felt so guilty. She already had a double life, so why would having the hots for a co-worker seem so much worse? Savannah had never cheated in her life, surely merely being attracted to someone didn't count? Out of habit, she had also waved goodbye to her next door neighbor Hermione, formerly Harry, as she picked up the morning paper from her doorstep in a pink, fluffy bathrobe.
Savannah turned the corner as the ordinary vehicle vanished without a trace, nary a light show to be seen. The car had teleported from Wantagh, Nassau County on Long Island, all the way out to the deepest recesses of Area 51, the infamous air force base located in Nevada. Savannah parked her car inside the enormous indoor parking lot and hailed a trolley to bring her to her place of work.
That's when she saw Katerina.
The R.O.S.S and the U.S team were working on a project together to pierce the barrier of a particularly difficult parallel dimension, with Savannah being there to deescalate any potential encounters with supernatural beings, while Katerina was a Jill of all trades in just about everything occult related. She was fond of wearing all black, in order mimic her new "Black Widow" persona.
"Hey, Tullio. You're looking pretty this morning" purred the slinky Russian, sensually backed up against a wall licking a lollipop.
"Hey yourself."
Savannah remembered when she used to work with Katerina as a man. It had been...fun, to say the least, but he had been protected by the barrier of Kat being strictly lesbian. She was also professional and friendly to her as Seth. They were co-workers, even friends, but nothing more. Now, Savannah, was pulling at her top to stop her from wanting to suck face with her right now.
