A golden tiara with a jewel at the center? Whatever. If Chad could add Sinclair to his list of conquests, that was good enough for him!
Chat came to the field house without incident, but he couldn't stop thinking all day about the prize he'd have at the end of the day. Chad would have bragged about it to his friends if he had any.
The key to the field house was weird, why was it golden with all the fancy swirls and jewel like the tiara on it? Meh. What did he care?
He put on the tiara, took the key and opened the door and without thinking about it stepped inside.
Except inside... wasn't the field house... instead... it looked like a giant blue sky that went in every direction with a sun perpetually at noon. He was standing on a floating clear crystal platform of a straight forward ornament design.
And there... was Karen Sinclair, maybe. Except... she looked more like Karen Sinclair's little sister... and she was wearing a bright purple fluffy dress with a purple jeweled tiara and broached. Next to her was a golden spear with purple gems. Her red hair was tied back in an exceptionally long ponytail.
"Hello Chad," she said flatly.
"What the fuck is this?!" Chad demanded, not caring he was in front of a child. "Listen you brat, I don't have time for your stupid pranks!"
The girl rolled her eyes, not intimidated at all. "This is no prank. I had to find conscripts from this school, so I might as well go with those who the most deserve it. And you were near the top of my list."
"I said I don't have time for whatever fairy tale delusion you're playing!" Chad tried to take the tiara off... except it wasn't.
"Too late, you put it on of your own free will. That seals the deal. You're doomed. Your days of 'scoring chicks' is over. If it's any consolation, I'm actually about thirty years your senior. And there are Magical Girls much older than that. I had to perform a 'existence insert', thus why my 'father' thinks of me as such." He made a slight cough. "Ahem. 'Ye old mortal, have been chosen to protect humanity and to fight against the Monsters. The Monsters can not be perceived by those without magic, and are quickly forgotten about. You have been conscripted, like many before you, to defend the human race from these beasts who feed on the darkness within the human heart. You shall now be reborn as a Magical Girl, your life as you knew it before is over, please do not hold this against the world."
Chad entire body stiffened, sparkles surrounded his body, he heard japanese pop music from nowhere. He tried to scream and shout but nothing happened. The whole world as getting bigger (actually he was getting smaller). His curly blond hair become longer and curlier, looking like cute anime girl spirals. He face softened, and he felt stuff changing DOWN THERE as he lost his muscles, but didn't feel weaker, if anything he felt STRONGER. His frame and face softened, and as it did, he felt lightning strike his brain, blasting him, and who he had been, and who he would have been. Wasn't away Chad.
Her clothes changed into a puffy blue dress, a gold and blue gem broach appear on it, her sneaker ironically not changing that much, except getting pretty blue sequins on it.
The japanese pop music faded as did the sparkles. A golden hammer with blue jewels appeared floating next to her.
The new magical girl, and said in a decided feminine but young voice. "Wow... old me sure was a jerk."
