Yukiko awoke to a sudden pleasurable sensation coming from her wing. It was Naomi, stroking it again. "I knew that'd get your attention." The human said with a sultry smile.
Yukiko smiled and said, "Keep it up and we may have to go another round; or is that what you want." She stroked Naomi's cheek.
"Maybe later; but right now, I want to tell you about a dream I had." Naomi had Yukiko's attention. "We were inside a forest, living in a treehouse. I walk up to you and we make out. Your wings buzz behind your back, but I feel a buzzing behind mine. I look behind my back and see I have fairy wings, also. Before I knew it, we were flying through the forest; dancing and weaving through the trees. It was incredible!" Before Naomi could continue, she saw a sense of worry in Yukiko's face. "Is something wrong?"
"If you're about to make the wish I think you are, you may want to reconsider." She said.
She was indeed considering just that, but she tilted her head inquisitively at Yukiko's comment. "Why; what's wrong?"
"It's a wish that will change everything... forever. You see, fairies cannot grant wishes to other fairies. If you wish to become one, yourself, I would be unable to grant you any more wishes."
"And you'd be stuck human sized, too." Naomi theorized.
"Actually, size shifting is one of our basic abilities. That's why it didn't take the full five minutes one of our wishes requires. I could change back any time I wanted. Which is more than I could say for you since, as a fairy, you would be unable to remain in the human world. Of course, I'm only able to stay since I'm assigned to grant your wishes."
"So, I'd have to leave everything behind; including my family?"
"That's the way it would have to be."
Naomi looked down onto the bedsheets and started to think. Yukiko, not wanting to disturb her at the moment, took the time to magically mend the tattered remains of her dress that tore apart when she grew to human size.
"Yukiko?" Naomi asked.
"Yes, Naomi?" Yukiko answered.
