Later that night you really were against sleeping just in case something came either to help, or attack you. You wanted to be prepared, and just in case you had the game that was basically unpredictable to help, which worried you in a way. The night wasn't exactly cold, but the others were huddled with you for warmth, and wind protection. You were still subconscious about your breasts so the closet person to them was Sara, but you still hid your breasts when you covered everyone with your wings, which were huge.
Later that night you let Cody out so he could take a leak, but he came running back in a full sprint. Everyone was on high alert, and stood there ready to see what Cody was being pursued by. "What happend?" You asked Cody.
"I don't know I was just doing my thing, and when I was making my way back something came out of the shadows, and attacked me. It tore a part of my pants off too." Cody said, pointing to his pant leg which had been torn up to the knee.
"I hate to sound like a mother when I'm clearly not here, but if this thing comes up here, don't do anything until I say so, including talk, got it everyone?" You said, and everyone nodded.
Minutes later three humanoid figures appeared at the part of the shrine where Cody came running in from. These figures did have weapons, two with spears, and one with a bow and quiver, but their silhouettes looked more like your own, anthro dragons. The others stood back behind you, and the figures all looked at you, then the beacon, then the others, and finally each other. The figures then stood down, the two with spears layed them down on the ground, and the one with the bow sheathed it onto his back, and slowly began approaching you, and the others beside the beacon.
In the beacon light the approaching figure was a male dragon with green scales on his back, and brown across his stomach. The dragon had apparel, but it was mostly just to accommodate the bow, and quiver. The dragon was slightly taller, and was now looking down at you, inspecting your body. In the beacon light your symbol glowed, and the dragon took notice once he saw it. The dragon signaled the others to come see, and they saw your symbol too, and were shocked.
You were nervous mostly of being killed, raped, but just the fact that there were three of them made you worry, and almost sweat. Finally the two other dragons backed off behind the original male, and he spoke,"You......You are the one aren't you. The one who lit the beacon, the one who was chosen by fate, you are one of the guardian beings who is bound to this world. Aniwroth, Lady Aniwroth that is, to what do I have the pleasure of being in the presence of, please I must confirm to the tribe of our kind. Please do not take offense to this, but you are female?" The green dragon said cocking his head to the side.
You sighed,"While I'm glad that I'm not being attacked, I must say that yes I am female, and that it is not the gender of my preference." You said, and then thought to yourself,"Lady Aniwroth..... that must be me."
"Curious, do you know about your legend?" The green dragon continued
"Ummmm.....,not really to be honest, all I did here was out of my own curiosity." You said
"If that's the case then answer me this, what are those? And why are you defending them?" The green dragon asked.
"As for what they are I'd be happy to explain, but before I do why did you attack them, or at least one of them. If that was you that is, and if it was just say so I won't think anything less of you." You said
"I can say that it was not me, but a scout sent to investigate the beacon, he saw one of them, and attacked thinking it to be prey." The green dragon said.
"I assume that you are going to say that my friend here retaliated, and ran." You said, and the dragon nodded.
"Okay then in that case I shal explain, those creatures are humans, they are intelligent, and even sentient. I told them to let me do the talking here, as for this legend please elaborate on it, but summarize it leaving out any unimportant details. Answer me this thought who are you?" You asked.
"Corethien, Lady Aniwroth, is there anything else you would like before I began." The dragon, Corethien said
"Just.... if you want you can send those other two back to this tribe you speack of, and allow me a couple minutes to explain the situation to my friends here." You said, and Corethien nodded ordering the two soldiers back with a message. In the meantime you went back to the others, and said,"If you heard all of that then good, if you didn't then know you should call me Lady Aniwroth, and believe me I don't exactly like the title, but please address me as it because these guys were. In addition come with me, and listen so we can find out more about this legend I am in, it could be important."
Blake, Sara, and Cody nodded sticking close to you, and returned to Corethien. "I see you want the 'humans' to listen in." Corethien then turned towards each of them,"Lady Aniwroth said you could communicate using similar language, so if that's the case then what are your names?" Corethien asked.
"Mine is Blake," Blake said
"My name is Sara," Sara said
"I'm Cody, and I was the one who was ambushed by one of you." Cody said.
"Well, in that case my apologies, and I find your names interesting all things considered. You seem fond of Lady Aniwroth, so I hope you accept it." Corethien said,"I hope to learn more about humans as a species, but for now allow me to explain the legend."
