It is the feeling like dripping beads of sweat running down your face which wakes you from your sleep.
Looking around you are still in bed but the room is picture perfect normal, not a brat in sight. Slowly you move to the side of the bed letting your legs dangle down but not touching the floor.
The drips of sweat still run in streams down your face as one's mind clears a little.
"What a horrid dream!" you gasp out only to feel a definate ache in your rearend.
A stretch of this arm and the other makes a chill run down your spine. Then out of the corner of your eye you spot an envelope laying face down on the footend of the bed.
A long reach to grasp the letter makes yet a stabbing pain jolt you into a moaning groan.
Fingers graffle for the envelope but don't seem to function with normal coordination.
At last in your grasp you snag it and with an angered grip another terrible pain shots up your hand, and arm. Dropping loose the grasp of the envelope you see it's stuck to your hand.
"No wait!" The envelope is not stuck to your hand but stuck in your skin.
Pulling the hand toward you the sight of a trailing line of blood comes into view. As you look down the envelope had a medical seringe inside and its needled end had jabbed into your hand.
Yanking it out you see writing on the envelope.
"I got even, you beat the snot out of me and this will make you fucking crazy, or so I'm told!" unsigned, but you remember well the ugly and crude young man.
One can not know what was in the seringe and in seconds you jump in your clothes and head for the car. Two flights of stairs makes you tired as never before. You fumble for the car keys, dropping them several times before finding the correct key.
A mad dash out into a cold rain and dark night as with increasing trouble, you can't push the key into that car's lock.
Breathing heavy your exhales are making strange ragged sounds. As you inhale the air also makes a high pitched whine sound. The key won't fit, your getting madder by the tick of a clock till in one mighty scream you yell!
