On the other line, Kyle looked at his watch. Jennifer just stood still un-amused.
"So are we done here, nerd?" She spoke, her words near horizontal. She clearly wasn't intending on playing Kyle's little games.
After the clock finally struck 60, Kyle continued his charade. "Okay Jenny, my dearest friend. Here's--"
"My name is not Jenny! Don't you dare fucking call me that 'pet name', shithead". Jennifer. hated being called anything but 'Jennifer', and 'Jen' from her friends. She was about to hang up the phone when Kyle began speaking again.
"S--Sorry, I--...." Kyle was still intimidated by her, he had to admit, but now that he had the power, things would have to change.
"Yes...okay. That's a lovely transition into what I was going to say. Your curse. I assure you, it's real. You don't have to--"
Again, Kyle was cut off.
"No one care about your stupid curse, weirdo. I've got to get ready for school. Bye!" Jen tried to hang up the phone, but this time she simply couldn't control her hands. She could hardly move.
"Okay! I'm just going to say it, fuck. Alright, as each day passes you're going to become slightly more and more animal. I'm not going to tell you what animal. Um, part two: everyone will think you've always been that way, except for me and one person you see regularly. I'm not telling you who though. Part three...".
Kyle was almost choking at this point. He worked out everything in his head, but he still pictured Jen as his biggest fear.
"Part three is that that one person will become more and more attracted to you the more animal you get..a-and for four, I'm not going to give you a dare. I'll uh, I'll save that, just in case. That way you can't pass on the curse too. Okay, that's it, done." Kyle stated, wheezing.
Jennifer's hands finally regained mobility and she slammed the phone down, harder than she had anticipated. "What the fuck was that?" she thought to herself. She hadn't really paid attention to what Kyle was saying, as she was too busy trying to figure out what was wrong with her hands. After a few seconds of recapping her thoughts and demeanor, she continued on her merry way to school.
