Marry, from life science who just had her thirtieth birthday just last week, is talking about the daughter she had at sixteen. She had gotten a message from her daughter that she was pregnant with a girl of her own, Marry tolled how sad she was that she would never get to hold that granddaughter, when we felt a bump and a glow lights up the cabin. A garbled voice comes from the radio the only intelligible words were habitable world. We can not see what is towing us. We see the orange glow of us entering the atmosphere of a plaint. We touch down in what looked like a abandoned colony. Weeds and other plant life had grown tall. A garbled message of greeting says its 2130. This colony was abandoned twenty years ago. Their was a near by war going on at the time, if it was a old weapon from that war is what nocked out our power. Wendy a thin woman in her twenties says "God looks like my home town". "mine too, except the sky on my plaint is green" says Rachel a woman in her middle twenties. "We all are from colony worlds, so unless your from the back woods or something all our home towns look like this" says Ben a man in his early thirties. Rex says " All the premade buildings on my plaint were destroyed decades ago". "Might as well learn what we can about our new home" Mark says. We soon discover that all commutation devices were fried. Ten years will pass before we are found. By then we will have families of our own.
