Benjamin could see and feel the children gawking at his naked body. He felt so exposed and yet still sexy. He was a big beefy piece of marble. A representation of the god Zeus.
Day after day he stood in the park when suddenly one morning he looked off in the distance and saw a new pillar appear in the distance.
As he squinted he realized it a statue of Hercules. But the face made him think of the nerd Michael. As the days wore on he realized that the statue of Hercules consciousness linked up with him and it really was Michael.
The link showed that Michael had gone into Benjamin's room and found the chronivac. As he touched it he passed out and the change happened to him. Michael had gone to Benjamin's house because he hadn't shown up to his tutoring session.
They were able to somewhat communicate with each other through their link.
And then almost a month later a platform appeared right in front of Benjamin.
There reclined a bloated image of Bacchus. The face reminded him of the football captain. A svelte sexy man in real life but here he was the antithesis of his former self.
For days after that Benjamin and Michael could only discern screams of panic and horror emanating from Darren's statue. He felt the weight. He saw his form. And the children looking at t he statues often giggled at him.
Benjamin and Michael calmed him down so that they weren't droned on with screams. Now it was just a simple despair.
One after another popped up. Not a single female statue. It was a garden of men of all shapes and forms. Even a ring of little cherubs peeing into a fountain pools.
