William Anderson went back to teaching his classes for the rest of that day, but decided if he didn't hear anything further concerning Jenny Harper and her fiance Harry Jenkins by the time his last class ended at 8 that evening, he would call his wife Martha and pick her up before going to Moon Lake General Hospital to check on them.
MEANWHILE...
As Moon Lake Junior High ended classes for the day, Martha Anderson gathered her things.
Despite the lock down situation earlier that morning, it was great to be teaching again, although Martha longed to get her recertification and return to third graders; where there would hopefully be less stress and drama.
Yet one thing that the junior high had that the elementary school wouldn't was Coach Katherine "Kat" Johnson.
Being a bi werecat, Martha had purred in delight at finding out the lesbian weretigress had an interest in her, and things got very interesting when the two of them got together yesterday and let their fursonas out to play.
Yet Eric's concerns about her marriage to his father, coupled by the fact that lately she had been desiring more girl-on-girl action than straight sex with her husband William, made Martha decide she would go straight home and be a wife and mother more than a wanton female in heat, despite how much she was wanting Kat right now.
Maybe I'll get a chance to Jill myself off before dinner, thought Martha, as she began walking home, since William had their lone car because Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays he was at the college until 8pm.
ELSEWHERE...
The Ben Twist car pool was in action once more, taking its passengers home after another day at Moon Lake High School.
"Can you please drop Julie and me off at her place today Ben?" asked Eric Anderson, holding Julie Stovall's hand romantically in his as they approached the parked vehicle.
The fact that both were-mers were now currently in their Stage 1 forms, for he spotted the webbing between their fingers, wasn't lost on Ben.
"Sure. As soon as your brother and Alex arrive," he promised.
Instead of getting in immediately, Julie and Eric leaned against the side while waiting for the others.
"Not that you ain't welcomed, but why my place instead of yours?" wondered Julie, moving closer to her fiance.
"If mom brings Kat home again today..." began Eric, by way of explanation.
"I understand. But you did talk to her, right?" asked Julie.
"Yes. Hopefully you're right and it's just a phase that she will settle out of once the newness of being a were and finally acknowledging her bi side wears off," replied Eric. "Besides," he said in a lower voice as he smiled at his one true love, "I feel like a swim. With full tail, if you don't mind."
"Always, my love," said Julie happily, as she kissed him on the cheek.
CONCURRENTLY...
"Come on Stud. Our ride's waiting," said Alex Ramsey, standing next to his boyfriend as Nate Anderson was still rummaging in his locker.
"I know Handsome," replied Nate, as he used his pet name for Alex, "but somehow I got lucky enough to wind up with homework in EVERY class today!"
"Bummer. I've only got homework in 4 out of 6 classes myself. I'll lend you as much help as I can," promised Alex, "but maybe Eric can assist too. He and Julie are pretty smart."
"Yeah, but I try not to depend upon them too much. They have their own work to do and besides, all of this is two grade levels above them," pointed out Nate.
"Maybe, but sometimes I have to stop and wonder if Eric might be holding back how smart he really is."
"I don't know about that part, but I do know that back in Minnesota, my folks had the opportunity once to let Eric skip a grade but turned it down because he was already starting to have social problems dealing with other students because he was already such a geeky nerd. Thankfully Moon Lake and Julie helped change his life for the better," said Nate with a smile, as he closed his locker while juggling a handful of books.
"Moon Lake is a truly wonderful place," agreed Alex. "After all, it brought us together," he added, smiling at his boyfriend. "Now come on. I'll help you carry some of that and then later on this evening, I know a special stress relief technique we can share."
"THAT I am definitely looking forward too," said Nate, as they walked out of the building to Ben's car.
