It hadn't even been an hour since my transformation finished and I didn't even notice my parents walk in as I was distracted with the Legos. "Well I knew you were gonna be younger, but I'm a little surprised about this," mom said as dad ruffled my hair. "Well mommy, I wanted to try being the little brother this week," I replied. Wait, did I just say mommy? Judging by mom's reaction to hearing that come from me in a decade, I just did. Blame it on the mental change. "So how do you like it so far?" Dad asked. "Everything looks bigger now, but I don't mind looking up now," I answered, not telling them about the mental changed. I turned my head back to the Legos while my parents, without me looking, unplugged my computer with the Chronivac still there. I didn't notice for another half hour, but then I got up as I needed to use the bathroom. I panicked a little bit in case mom and dad took it, but I really had to pee and I wasn't willing to wet myself on my first day of being 6 again.
One trip to the bathroom later (and yes, I did wash my hands), slight panic has set in with the missing computer. "Mom! Dad! Where did the computer go?" I asked before realizing how loud I was. I was then met with my parents storming upstairs before looking at me in the face. "Well, we saw you with the legos and how easily you were drawn to them," mom replied, "we just wanted to make it easier for you to get used to being like this." "Also son, we didn't want to have anyone ask why our 6 year old son has a computer with no parental lock on it, but don't worry," Dad added, "We just put it downstairs for everyone to use. It's not like you were gonna use it for another change anyway."
"But is isn't fair! It was my computer first, I did this for myself, and I don't want anyone to make another change on me!" I replied in what sounded like a tantrum. I don't know why I even threw one, but I am 6 after all. "I guess this machine changed more than just your age," mom replied in a stern tone, "Looks like we need to put you in your new place for the week." A shiver went down my spine as my dad grabbed me by the wrist. I tried to escape, but his grip was much stronger on my weaker body. I had a fear about what would happen next, but I had it coming as I found myself lying face down in dad's lap. *WHACK!* I knew this was coming. *WHACK!* Well, that kinda hurt. *WHACK!* Now that really hurt! *WHACK!* Tears were flowing down my face; I never knew some swats on the rear by my dad would hurt so much. *WHACK!* "Sorry! I'm sorry! I'm sorry! Just stop this please!" I cried out loud, which didn't stop dad for another 5 swats.
"Michael, I know you're really 16, but we're gonna have to treat you like a child if you're gonna act like one," mom scolded as dad put me down. "I couldn't help it mommy. I set the machine so that I could also act like I'm 6 for real. I'm sorry." I replied. "Then maybe we can reteach you some manners this week," mom replied, "And could you please keep calling us mommy and daddy from now on this week?" I nodded, not having much of a choice. "Well, your mommy and I have a lot of errands to run today, so you're gonna get a sitter today" Dad said, changing the subject. "Sitter?" I whined. "Like I said Mikey, we gotta treat you like a kid. Besides, Rachel can't handle both you and Rebecca, and we do have a sitter in this reality." Mom sternly replied.
