Leon sighed as he observed Doctor Tachibana inject a still sedated Helen Tompkins with the extra strong dose of were-birth control for a were-rabbit. While he understood the need for his son to help out the doctor undergoing her intense heat cycle. It was Regina who was still balking at the whole idea; wanting to meet the woman first before her son was being used as some sex toy for a were-rabbit’s pleasure. Yet seeing her sedated and clearly sweating profusely; Regina had to growl in defeat as doctor Tachibana made it clear that getting to know the doctor was out of the question at the moment.
However that wasn’t the major dilemma they faced. Transporting a fully shifted and sedated were-lion from a private hospital room to a specially designed safe room designed to whether a were’s incomplete transformation was not an easy feat. The hospital containing staff and patients that were normal human beings on top of were’s; doctor Tachibana had to request hospital security to help clear out a few hallways so they could wheel Peter Talbot to where Helen was waiting.
It was a tense few minutes and a few floors later when they arrived; Seeing Helen passed out on the bed; everyone could clearly smell her heat once the door was open. Doctor Tora and Leon noticing Peter stirring; the two were surprised that the sedative doctor Tora gave him for his outburst earlier was starting to were off.
“I thought you said my son would be out for hours,” Leon looking at the doctor.
“I thought so to,” Doctor Tora answering; “but perhaps Peter is smelling Helen’s scent and its getting him going.”
“In that case,” Leon still smarting from the savage clawing his son gave him earlier; “let’s just wheel him in there and close the door.”
“Let me check up and take care of Helen first,” doctor Tora entering the room.

“My sister isn’t a bad person,” Andy speaking to Regina; “she just tends to keep to herself a lot. Despite mom and dad’s insistence; Helen has never been attracted to members of our warren. Helen has never fallen for a were-rabbit,” Andy sighing; “Peter is the first person she has had any genuine feeling for.”
“And she is your twin sister,” Regina looking at the man in a sling; “what do you do specifically?”
“I’m a paramedic,” Andy answering; “and as for the question as to why Peter owes me an apology for breaking my arm, I’m the paramedic that brought him back from death while on route to the hospital. Twice.”
Regina gasped at that revelation; while she was informed that her son was gravely wounded from the man know languishing in jail all for his mustang. Regina was never told her son actually died while being transported to the hospital. Wondering why no one ever told her that important fact, a thought she had to table upon seeing her Husband and doctor Tachibana returning from the secured wing. Thanking Andy for the chat regarding Helen and for saving Peter’s life she approaches Leon just as doctor Tachibana leaves him and slaps her husband.
“What the hell was that for,” Leon growling; the slap his wife gave him aggravating the wound he received from Peter earlier.
“For not telling me that our son died,” Regina looking mad before breaking down and crying; falling into her husband’s arms. “How could you not tell me our son had to be brought back to life,” Regina sobbing.
“I didn’t want to worry you,” Leon hugging his wife; “and have you hunt down Peter’s shooter.”
“You wanted to save that pleasure for yourself,” Regina growling; “didn’t you?”
“I won’t lie,” Leon answering quietly; “it did cross my mind.”
“Tachibana may be worried that you might do something stupid,” Regina looking at her husband; “but it’s me she should worry about. That were-vixen should know,” Regina starting to growl with anger; “there is no more dangerous creature on this planet than a mother protecting her young.”
“Tachibana has made it clear,” Leon looking at Regina; “we are not to go after the Parker’s. We are to let the authorities deal with them.”
“To hell with that,” Regina angry and fighting back the urge to explode into here were-lioness fursona; “make the Parker’s pay my husband. Your queen requests it.”
Leon looks at Regina and sighs; knowing that she rarely used the title except when she truly wanted something done. Leon looks at his brothers who overheard the entire exchange. Nodding to them they quickly leave; they knew better than to disobey a royal request.
“I hope you understand the ramifications in what you just asked,” Leon looking at his wife; “this will get bloody.”
“As long as its Parker’s blood that is spilled,” Regina seething; “make Frederick suffer.”

Peter growled as his olfactory senses were assaulted with a strong aroma. An intoxicating aroma that is causing his body to burn through the sedative doctor Tora gave him earlier; bringing him back to consciousness, however leaving him partially paralyzed and sitting in a wheel chair. Seeing he is in a different room; Leon swivels his head to the source of the smell and roars happily. Seeing Helen on the bed, her heat driving him mad with mating lust as he tries to get up, only to fall onto the floor; the sedative making his muscles partially flaccid, Peter growls as his prize is only a few feet away yet it feels like miles for him.
“I’m coming for you Helen,” Peter growling; “just as soon as I can get my legs working right.”
