18 years later, John was now an adult white tiger anthro living in the caretaker colony. The beast, and regime factions have fallen, due to human, and mask actions. John had adopted the name Hunter, and had already been told of his human past, and he doesn't care for it, and he had made friends in the caretaker colony. Currently Hunter was up on a ledge overlooking the colony thinking about his past. As Hunter was there the wolf walked up behind him,"Hello Hunter, may I ask as to why your up here?" The wolf asked
"Well dad, I was just thinking about how I was human, and the reasons that we are given to transform and adopt them as our own, like you did me." Hunter said
"Hunter are you seriously considering trying to reason with humans again?" The wolf asked
"No!... well not entirely anyways. I got to thinking, we transform them, raise them from an infant, and tell them of their past. We basically give them a new chance to see life as a kid, and restart it as one, so what do humans fight for exactly? I mean if I could I'd ask one, but..." Hunter said
"Actually, I see where your coming from, and I was once human too you know. I too have pondered those thoughts, and I think I know why. It's because humans have family like us, and they want to protect them like we do our children. Ultimately in the end they will most likely give up their own lives for family, and wish only to provide, and protect them. They even have children that the create naturally, and the only reason we don't is because we're at war. However, we don't know of any family ties, and the war has gone on for so long now that we don't know anything about the conditions of those families." The wolf said
"Well I heard rumors of a human peace treaty, and that we would be given names of prior family members, and that's got me a little bit hyped up about finding out about who I was you know dad?" Hunter said
"Well, humans are humans, and most humans destroy the environment, and harvest world resources for themselves. We don't want the world to die, and that's why we fight, and personally not a lot of us see what war is. I only saw it for a few days before finding you, and we're trying to play things defensively to help out everyone. Now, all I'm saying is that humans are basically random, some like us, some the polar opposite just be careful what humans you deal with." The wolf said.
"Well, here's the thing dad," Hunter began taking out a slip,"I've actually been assigned to go out into war tomorrow, and recruit and transform a human, or enemy stragglers from other factions."
"Tomorrow huh, well if you need help you know where to look, good luck Hunter." The wolf said, and left.
Hunter knew humans were bad, but he seemed extremely interested in them, and actually loved the idea of a faction consisting of a single race of species instead of everyone being a different animal. Hunter knew tomorrow would be the day that he would become a father, or at least a god father to one he could call his own. Hunter also knew of the dangers outside the colony, and would prepare for anything that would try to stop him.
