Jen froze in her place when Tad said that. "You met...the man who killed Ulysses?"
"Well, we sort of ran into him," Tad said. "And he seemed pissed."
"What happened? Tell me everything!" Jen said.
"Well," Amy said, "Tad and I were talking. We didn't look where we were going and we sort of ran into him. He was super mad and started yelling at us for running into him. Before he walked of, he yelled 'If it weren't for me, everyone would know Ulysses was a rat and would have come here to burn it all! Everyone should know that and thank me for everything that I've done!' That pretty much confirmed our suspicions that he murdered Ulysses."
"Thank you for telling me," Jen said, grabbing the phone. "Now I need to call the police." Jen dialed 911 and held the phone up to her ear.
"Hello?" she said when someone picked up. "My son and his girlfriend had a run in with the man that they believe to have murdered Lionel Ulysses." There was a silence before Jen said, "Yes, they're sure it was him. Okay. Thank you." With that, Jen hung up.
"The police will be right over," she said. "Tell them everything you told me."
