The hallway was completely empty save for a medium sized cardboard box that sat at their doorstep. It was unmarked though its postage spoke to a well-traveled box.
"Were you expecting a delivery?" Tom asked Matt, already bringing the thing in. It wasn't too heavy but there was a sway to it. Setting it down on the common room table, Tom was looking for a knife to open the box while Matt came over to look at it closer.
"I wasn't expecting a thing. I'm guessing you weren't either," Matt answered.
After some doing withe cutting all the tape and packing slips, with the help of Matt, Tom took out what was a wooden tree with different glass vials hanging from it. All there labeled with black ink images that, upon closer inspection, had mostly animals on them. Inside each, behind aged glass, they could see a liquid inside though it was never the same between any file. They were all corked and aside the labels, there was no other markings to be seen.
"Very weird," Tom remarked, holding a vile in his hands.
