As you followed Rowan you couldn't get three things out of your head. The first being the massacre, the second was that the knight called you Rowan's pet yet understood not of your situation. Finally was the soul that was placed into your body by your master. It was then you had a thought,"Master?" You asked
"Yes?" Rowan responded
"Just hypothetically thinking here, but if you weren't immortal and could die, and you changed my body to match your soul that you merged with other souls from before. Doesn't that mean that if you were mortal and died, wouldn't that mean I would die as a result of your death, due to your soul merging with mine?" You asked
"I see your mind is beginning to adjust to your body. But yes since your soul is merged with mine, if I would to die you would too, but it's impossible for me to die as you stated Gannoth. You seem to be quite bright for a dragon your age." Rowan said
"Thank you master, and just out of curiosity do dragons have different lifespans then humans? If so then how old am I exactly?" You asked
"Dragons typically live to about 978,629 years before dying, and your body it's is only about 56,732 years old. In other words you are basically a hatchling who will either remain similar in size as you are now, and gain vast amounts of knowledge. Or you could become a hulking behemoth of a dragon who has the potential to destroy entire fortresses in a single blow, or breath. Personally I prefer a 'pet', as the knight put it, who can meaningfully converse with me, and wield extremely powerful magics that may even surpass my own. Sure Behemoths can be powerful, but magic is even more so, and has the potential to do ten to one-hundred times the destruction of any behemoth type of dragon." Rowan explained
"Thanks for the insight, master, but where exactly are we going to train my magical capabilities at?" You asked
