He directs you to the corner by the fireplace. Apparently, he wasn't sure what sort of familiar animal he would be getting. You notice the corner is filled with various furnishings for pets, of which there are none. There's a perch for an owl or falcon, a basket for a cat or dog, a large bowl of water for a fish, and a terrarium, and a cage. You don't want to be anything other than yourself at the moment, and you don't know how you could amplify his magic, but you know you did. When he waved his hand outside, you felt a rush of energy pass through you. It felt good sort of, but left you sore and weak afterward.
He is busy flipping pages back and forth in a huge book on a pedestal on the other side of the room. The room looks very homey except for the kitchen area, where you can see jars of eyes and other strange things floating. There's an over stuffed chair with a table and porcelain tea set on the other side fo the fire. Their are lace doilies on the table, and the back of the comfy chair. A throw rug with a floral motif is directly in front of the hearth. The brass fireplace grille is decorated with birds and flowers. The whole room smells amazingly of lavender. Obviously, Ozzy's great aunt didn't pass that long ago, or Ozzy's more of homebody than a wizard.
You're shifting from foot to foot, standing is boring. You look at the chair. It looks so comfy.
"Mind if I sit down, Ozzy?" you ask.
"How dare you call me Ozzy, only my great aunt and mother dared call me tha- Wait, yes." he says flipping back through the book to re-read something. Well, he did say, "Yes." So you throw yourself into the easy chair. And sigh. It is as comfortable as it looked, must be stuffed with down feathers. You're tired from pulling the cart, and amplifying magic or whatever. You look at the glowing fire, and bask in the warmth, and you fall asleep.
