Your body instantly grew scales everywhere, and your body began growing, and expanding in size. As this happened your spine altered causing you to fall onto all fours, and your hands and feet altered to become 3 toed claws. You then grew a large lizard-like tail, and your head altered to become more like a dragon. Immediately following your neck lengthened overtaking your body size by length, but only slightly.
"Whoa this is going to take some time to get used to." You said
"It's not done yet! The last time I checked hydras don't just have one head." The witch said
Suddenly an enormous pain erupted from your shoulders, and you watched as two heads similar to yours slowly grew to match yours, but slightly less long.
"There we are, now what shall I call you three?" The witch said thinking
"Wait three?" Your left head asked, and then your two heads looked at each other and you, and roared loudly in place of a scream in unison.
"Ow! Hey you two shut it before we get in trouble. Personally I have half a mind to tear one of you off right now." You growled
"Hey what makes you the top head?" Your right head asked
"Actually the center hydra head is always superior to the others. If the two other heads believe otherwise then try moving your body below your neck." The witch said, and everything was silent for a few moments.
"Damn it! So I have to live as a slave until I'm cut off or something?" Your right head said
"Actually you grow back when cut off, so it's more like until your superior gets cut off. In this case he is the original, and all three of you are like brothers all conjoined by the base of your necks, but only one has control." The witch said
"Which is me, right?" You asked
"Indeed, and I recommend you tell your new little brothers about everything too. They don't have the same memories as you do. By the way I now am naming you all Draconioxide." The witch said
"So we all share the same name, but are separate minds and entities from each other?" Your left head asked
"Yes, but hydra names are separated into parts depending on how many heads they have initially. The center head and original in this case is Drac, the left Onio, and the right Xide. The center head always gets the beginning of the name since it's superior. Anyways I have another familiar within this place, and it will visit you whilst conducting patrols around here. That's all you currently need to know, I shall return with a reward if everything is going smooth on your end. Also note if the superior head dies, so does the rest of you, for good." The witch said before walking off.
You then lied down on the ground in front of the door getting used to your new stance. "Wait why are we lying down? Don't you want to explore this place?" Xide asked
"I've seen quite a bit, but for now let me fill you both in on all of the details." You began,"Basically we were once a human, or I was, and we were summoned to serve as a familiar to that witch that just left. So basically she's our master, and we live to serve her. Our current duty is to guard this door, and apparently she has a second familiar we will be seeing soon." You explained
"So now I'm basically a double slave, great, marvelous, why not just put a damn leash on me." Xide said
"You seem more aggressive than me, guess you both don't derive from my mind, or act like me. Anyways I'm not exactly one-hundred percent about this either, and I hope that there's a loophole somewhere within this whole situation we're in. Personally if it was any other way I would allow you to kill her however you like." You said
"Hmf, well let's see where that gets us." Xide said
You then turned to Onio and said,"Hey Onio, haven't heard you say much. So what's on your mind?"
"Oh uh, I guess just existing like this is interesting, but restricting. I'm really interested in basically everything we do, and our capabilities as a whole, and just everything. I'm currently not sure if what you said about us is true though entirely. We could have derived from you, but as personally traits you have, and not being entirely like you, but not entirely different mentality. Think of me as the desire you have to learn, and Xide as your pride, I think I can't really know for sure at the moment." Onio said
"Should we get more opinions of us now? I mean we do grow back and we should gain another head with us right?" Xide asked
"From what I know of hydras yes, but I'm pretty sure that if I do rip either of you off. Either A, it's extremely painful and you keep your memories, or B, it's extremely painful and you don't remember anything. Either way I don't want to test that, also just keep a look out for anything other than us and our "master" of sorts." You said
"Well three heads are better than one I suppose. I got my side." Onio said
"I guess I'll take right." Xide said
"I'll take middle naturally, see we're already working as one. I won't try to force anything on you guys by the way, and personally I actually like the two of you. Just please run it by me before anything happens." You said
"Sure thing, Brother." Onio said
"Considering I can't move our body, I guess I have to agree with you Drac." Xide said
You nodded and began watching for anything at all, until....
