Spells 'R' Us, the place run by The Wizard, popping from place to place, reality to reality, selling macguffins and plot devices to the desperate, the oblivious, the foolish, and those rare cases who knew what they were getting into. (The classic tale of the youth who was turned into a unicorn to see the unicorn-fixated lady who he just wanted to see happy when the Wizard said he couldn't legally sell unicorns (that would be slavery after all), which turned out surprisingly well for all parties involved).
Today, the shop was selling a one of a kind playset, with only one in stock. The Princess Fairies Mega Palace: a very impressive doll house, that had working fixatures, and The Wizard insisted was all to scale of 'real fairies.' Spires, a throne room, kitchen, bedroom, dungeon (just in case nasties dropped by), armory, dining hall, and so much more. All of it sparkling pink and purple.
There was just one small detail, fairies were not included. This was a typical jip for pretty much any toy store. But it included a sub-clause about 'making your own.'
1. Whoever is the rightful owner of this playset shall have control of the playset all that is within.
2. Choose who shall be your fairies and they will cease to have been in this world and will be in the world of fairies instead. You make as many or as few changes about them as you wish. But you can't make new changes once the changes are done.
3. Decide what adventures and play times your fairies will have together, and have fun!
4. Note, your fairies aren't robots, sometimes they make choices you didn't see coming, this part of the fun.
In small print was the mention of how the playset palace was connected to the 'real' fairy palace in another universe that was now sadly empty, and all that the owner decided that happened, WOULD happen, no matter how random or strange.
Normally such a large playset would be insanely expensive... instead... it was insanely reasonably priced (reasonable to the consumer that is).
