You shake your head and rub it lightly. "No, no one has. But, however, I won't be afraid to give it a chance."
The faun nods. "Fair answer young miss. Allow me to explain, this zoo has a magical aura that spawns from the castle here, the source if you will. Every animal that comes to reside in the zoo gains the ability to become sentient in many ways. If I may, when the time comes, finding friends to help maintain the zoo that you can trust with the zoo's secret. You see, as you will find the animals, specifically when the zoo is closed, can become, if you will, sentient and humanoid, or in some cases tauren. Meaning...."
"I get what tauren is, like a centaur, right?"
"Exactly my dear."
"So magic you say? I think that's pretty neat. But why here and not all over?"
"An honest question." The old man states. "Which has an honest answer." He continues. "When you got here you noticed the fence surrounding the perimeter, no?" You nod. "The fence acts as a inhibitor of sorts." He says. "Now I must warn, when you do, and you will, child, have sexual relations with any animals, you will become like them. Don't panic though, when the sun rises you will return to normal. But... the perk is, you will gain the ability to willingly to become that creature. Before the grand opening, I would recommend visiting all the sections of the zoo, only after you get you a team to help operate it. There is one rule on that. And don't fret, there's plenty of space. The condition is, the employees must reside here, as must their children and spouses should they have them." He says.
"Thank you. I think we'll get along just fine."
"I must tell you, there are some of the animals that do act as mascots so they stay bipedal, or anthro as the youngsters are calling them, and well the customers just think it's a costume." He state.
"So what sorts of creatures?"
"Your grandfather left a list in a journal in his study." He yawns. "If you excuse me, I must get something to eat."
As he walks out you walk up to his study, there you find the journal and read on through. "Seems like your basic zoo. Lions, tigers, leopards, panthers, wolves, snakes, alligators." You flip through the book and soon come to the back half. You read the print. "To who read this journal from this point on, be warned, you will find animals that no longer exist or people think never existed in the first place. I'm talking of from dinosaurs to dragons to creatures of 'horror' that reside here. Treat all as if they are people, after all, they are." You skim through it and when you finish you put the book down. You get up and thought to yourself. "Wow..." You ponder and walk to a map of the zoo. On it, it says, "If you can't decide, use darts to pick where to go." You spot some darts and walk back, throwing the first one. It lands on the Extinct part. The second lands in the mythical part, and the third, land right in the extinct, specifically both the two in that part landed right on the dinosaur part. So you decide to stroll to that section. To your surprise, they're there. As you examine them you ponder how your grandpa was able to hide them. Or did he?
You soon come to your favorite dinosaur, you think back and remember what you were told. The creatures here are friendly. None will harm you. So you decide to go into the pens and visit with them.
