Derrick slipped off his clothes, just like the receptionist had asked. She had explained that he would need to shed all his old belongings before assuming residency of the room. Putting on his assigned clothes from the resort would seal the bargain and complete the transaction, making him the official occupant of the room. He sighed once more, then slipped the green tunic over his nude body. Suddenly, he felt every strange.
The tunic had felt baggy when he first put it on, but his chest quickly grew broader and expanded to fill it. The rest of his body followed suit, growing taller and thicker. His body tickled and itched as he felt hair sprout from his body. Even his lip tickled as he felt a small mustache grow in. His arms and legs felt heavy but energetic as they puffed up, the muscles beneath the skin multiplying and growing more dense. The changes subsided almost as quickly as they began. Derrick walked over to a small oval mirror on the wall to examine the changes.
Derrick appeared to have aged into a rugged man in his mid-twenties. A small moustache adorned his upper lip and a tuft of manly hair was visible on his chest, sticking out of the low neck of his tunic. His reflection resembled that old movie star, Errol Flynn. His body was muscular, with a toned athletic physique. He didn't look like a bodybuilder, but his body would make some of the jocks at his school green with envy and was undoubtedly a pleasant sight to the ladies.
Speaking of which, thought Derrick as he took a look inside his tunic. Just as he hoped, his penis had been enhanced too, now longer and thicker.
"A Ranger, huh? I like it, " said Derrick in a surprisingly deep baritone as he rubbed his chiseled chin.
Derrick turned and walked back towards the bed. The room looked different somehow, smaller. His vision seemed finer, more acute. He could see more clearly in the dark corners of the room. He could even see the tracks of a mouse that had scampered across the cabin, easily marking the path it had previously followed across the floor.
Derrick was not surprised to find that his old clothes had disappeared. He wasn't worried. He wasn't going to need them for a while. In their place was a bow and a quiver. Derrick desperately wanted to test his skills and try out his new toys. He looked out the window at the forest. It no longer seemed menacing. He felt like he knew every path, every trail, every nook and cranny by heart. He innately knew how to get to any location and how to easily find his way home. It was like he had a compass burned into his brain. Derrick was tempted to take his bow and explore the woods.
But instead Derrick plopped down on the surprisingly soft bed, putting his hands behind his head and stretching out his long muscular legs on the bed. It had been a long day and he was ready for a well deserved rest.
