You huddled your way to Physical Education, and before Courtney found him so he started walking down the stairwell. It was a bit crowded with the traffic of students. He did manage to make it downstairs but it took a few minutes. Ty got out of traffic and just took a seat near the elevator where people tended not to be too close to. Ty also forgot that Courtney probably needed to get downstairs as well and the only way someone with a wheelchair was getting anywhere in a multistory building was either a really expensive circular ramp or an elevator. Considering this was a public school the elevator was the only option for her to get to a lower floor. So when the elevator door opened, Courtney came out and Ty started feeling stupid for resting near the Elevator after swarming through everyone when he could've wished he had his energy back, or that traffic was lighter, or that he was literally at his next class.
Courtney looked to her side and noticed Ty on the ground she smiled in recognition and said "Ty is that you? It's been over a decade since we last saw each other hasn't it? Remember me Courtney?"
Ty nodded his head and said "Yes I do... couldn't really forget.
Courtney just kept smiling and said "I suppose the end was a little shaky, but I do remember those days fondly. So what's your next class?"
Ty said "P.E. doubt that you would have that class..." he tried to scoot around the idea."
Courtney said "yeah I don't really have that requirement..." she sighed a bit then said "Well I do have a free period so I can join you to the gym at least. Mind pushing me?" she said the last part with an innocent smile so Ty couldn't say no."
Ty whispered to himself "I wish no one but the two of us would hear what I was about to say."
Courtney curiously asked "Did you say something Ty?"
Ty said "I'm not sure how I should say it, but if you could have your legs completely fixed would you?"
Courtney curiously said "Yes I would. I do miss running around and walking on my own two feet... If your feeling guilty about what happened don't be it wasn't your fault. Heck you getting out unscathed was just luck."
Ty said "That's not what I mean... Just out of curiosity if you could just get out of that entire incident unscathed like I did would you?"
Courtney could see that Ty felt a lot of grief or something about what happened all those years ago. So she said "Ty, You are not at fault! Stop acting like it is or your just going to drive yourself nuts! What happened back then is in the past you can't change that!"
Ty wanting to at least show Courtney what he meant whispered "I wish your hair was blonde."
Courtney asked "Are you alright Ty? Do you need a therapist?" she turned her head and her hair although short moved in front of her eyes a little and she saw some more yellow than she was used to. Courtney grabbed and looked at her hair and saw it was blonde.
Ty whispered "I wish your hair was brown like it was." Then Courtney saw her hair change back. Ty whispered "I've seem to have just came into this... So if you want to get your legs back, have it so you never lost your legs... anything really just ask."
