"Looks like our first pup is a boy, good." Your father said
"*huff* Why's that *huff* honey?" The other wolf said, and it was female, and sounded like it was panting.
"Remember the ritual of rebirth, and reconditioning?" Your father asked
"Oh," the female voice said panting
You tried to say something, but couldn't for you were only a newborn, and had no ability to communicate, so you just barked like the small pup you were. You then felt something on your face, and some of the liquid disappeared like you were being cleaned. You finally got the strength to open your eyes, and you saw your father and a female wolf who was in labor. "Agh!" The female wolf growled, and whined and you saw another puppy push out of her clitoris, slowly.
The next puppy was also wet like you and couldn't open it's eyes. Your father then walked over to the you and said,"Today is a gracious day for us all. Here I'll contend to our pups, you just focus on pushing, you have two down. As for our first, congratulations I will be expecting great things from you my son, and you should enjoy this while it lasts training isn't going to be harsh. By the way our second looks to also be male, so this goes for both of you." Your father said and walked over to lick the second wolf clean.
You just stood there barely able to walk alongside your mother and father, after about a few minutes after being born. You then grew tired, and fell asleep aside your mom, and began thinking about this new life you have. You eventually woke up, and you seemed cleared of the liquid, and outside seemed bright still and you struggled to stand, but it was easier this time. "Oh, I see my first son is awake again, I should let you know your name is Tracks, your brothers are Gnash, and Claw. Your sisters are Bearer, Moon, Nettle, and Womb. Your father isn't here now, but expects greatness from you, and considering we have more females than males I hope you live up to those expectations." Your mother said
"If it's not apparent already, I'm your mother or mama is good for now I guess." Mom said
"Mmmm....mm...mommy." You said
"Yes yes, correct! Oh it makes me so happy to hear those words, and so early too. If you don't live up to your father's expectations you at least are a prodigy, and one that we can push the limits of too." Mom said
You then felt hungry for some reason, but felt it was odd suckling from a wolf's teat. You struggled to walk making your way over to one of your mothers breasts and looked at it, and then her. "Go ahead young Tracks, I have them for a reason, and this will help me prepare for when I'm serving you all at once." Mom said
You then turned to your mom's teat, and closed your mouth around her teat and began sucking on it. "Oooh, that's interesting, that feels quite odd, but comforting knowing it's you." Mom said as you first drew milk. The taste of your mother's milk was amazing to you, and you wanted to keep suckling it forever, especially since you hadn't actually eaten since you were born. Just then your father walked into the cave carrying a dead duck by the neck, and you stopped.
Your father then walked to your mother and dropped the duck in front of her calmingly. "Which one is this? I haven't gotten much of a chance to get individual scents yet." Your dad asked your mom.
"Our first, Tracks he's the one who you expect so much out of." Mom said
Your father leaned down to you and sniffed you, and you got a whiff of your father's scent as well. "Still too much musk to get a good read. Nonetheless you have been here the longest honey, and I guess you would know who is who." Dad said then turned to you,"I apologize that my words may sound insensitive to you, but you're covered in your mothers musk, and identifying you is harder because of that. Not that you can understand me or anything, can you?"
You didn't know if your father was just speaking out of pride over you being from his seed or not, but nodded, and sat down on your haunches before him. "F...ffafver." You managed to say, but it came out wrong due to your lack of teeth.
"Wait Tracks can talk? Well roughly talk at least I guess." Dad said
"No teef," you said and then shook off feeling weird from talking.
"Wow I haven't even said anything about his lack of teeth." Mom said
"Really?" Dad said then looked to you,"How interesting, maybe just maybe I may have a different idea especially concerning your intellect. Honey do you think he's a prodigy or something along those lines?" Dad asked
"Too soon to tell, but he's really bright for only a few hours old, and he seems to be getting used to his body." Mom said
You then decided to try walking again, and it was still hard, but you didn't struggle as much as before. You eventually tripped over your own tail, and fell to the ground. You felt like crying, but considering how highly your Dad thinks you will be you held in the urge and lied down beside your siblings.
"Well seems the tail is something everything needs to get used to. Have any of the others been awake?" Dad asked mom
"No, none have been awake since you left, shall I suggest I try to get Tracks to sleep? He is young and doesn't have a lot of energy." Mom said
"Sure, I bet he may be tired anyways." Dad said
Your mother then moved to cradle around you and your siblings from all sides, and eventually you fell asleep.
