The humans looked normal, but were all in loin cloths, and seemed to be enslaved by some sort of lizard folk wearing full armor and weapons. You looked over at Stalker and he seemed shocked about this, and was snarling pissed off. {{Stalker are you...}} you began, but Stalker the roared extremely loud, and it felt like your ear drums were about to burst.
Stalker then rushed into the area, and began slaughtering the lizards one by one. The lizards seemed outmatched, despite their weapons Stalker was much larger and has both size, strength and agility to his advantage. The lizards began fleeing as fast as they could in fear, and Stalker roared into the sky while covered in blood from what almost appeared to look like a genocide took place. Stalker then began calming down slightly, and you emerged from your position and asked,{{Stalker what was all that about?}}
Stalker tilted his head up, which ironically was the only thing not covered in blood, and/or gore. {{Oh, I guess you just got a good example of how much pride I put into my territory.}} Stalker said
{{What about the humans? Should we free them, I mean you basically just did something that from a human perspective would probably make me want to run, or beg for my life.}} You said
{{I would say you have no right to talk to me about how to run my operations inside my territory, but you do know how it is like to be a human so maybe you know how they think.}} Stalker said
{{Well basically just tell them to calm down and that you're not going to harm them, and then free them. You may also want to wash off some of that blood on your...everything except your head.}} You said
{{Noted}} Stalker said seeing a small waterfall nearby, and beginning to wash off.
You then turned to the humans whom were in iron balls and shackles, basically working what appeared to be a quarry. The humans seemed scared and confused all staring at you and Stalker, but mostly Stalker.
{{Hey uh, can we communicate with humans? If so any suggestions on a name?}} You asked
{{We dragons can communicate with any mortal being, a few immortal beings we can't though like undead, gods, and on occasions other dragons who have a communication ward. Oh also we're immortal so there's that, "ageless until unnatural death" is always what I say.}} Stalker said and you were utterly shocked.
{{What do you mean by ageless do dragons uh mate?}} You asked
{{Maybe I should have worded that differently, dragons do age, but once our prime is reached there's no going beyond. Anyways please just free the humans they're not good for anything at all if in shackles. Also just make up any damn name you wish, as long as it's a word that can be pronounced then you should be fine.}} Stalker said
You turned to one of the many humans and this one was male, and looked like a teenager , and got close to them trying to focus on them, and trying to think of a name for yourself. {{Greetings, human...}} you began and the human looked up and said,"Why?"
{{Why what?}} you responded
"Why do you do this? You...things just are so weird sometimes, some protect us, some destroy us which is it? And considering your friend there I think between his actions and your own....damn it!" The boy said
{{You seemed confident for one that both is chained up, and can't think of a word to say. Answer me this is your pride that of bravery, or stupidity because you aren't in much of a demanding situation yourself. Nonetheless I am not your enemy so I'll do you a favor, and this will probably go for all of you too.}} you said, and saw the iron ball chained to the human. You then pulled it apart from the base of the chain, and it seemed like you were basically tearing a piece of paper considering how simple it was.
"Y...you..." the boy began
{{Now this may be something of a difficult question, but do you know who is responsible for this enslavement?}} you asked
"Just those damn kobolds, why?" The boy said
You shot a glance at Stalker who was just finishing washing off the blood, and he looked at you cocking his head to the side,{{What?}} Stalker asked
You turned back to the boy,{{Just because us dragons have our territory, and seeing your kind enslaved like that was enough to send my friend Stalker here into...well you know}} you said
"What does that have to do with us?" The boy asked
{{That's a question that I'd prefer if you would ask Stalker and not me. This is his territory by the way, at least it is in the dragon community. My name is Jagged by the way}} you said thinking back to those rocks you almost died to.
You then turned to Stalker,{{Hey Stalker this human...}} you began
{{I was listening in, and thanks for not answering that question...Jagged. Does that name originate from that whole falling experience earlier or what?}} Stalker asked grinning
{{Stalker! Too soon, also I almost died. If you hadn't saved me then...are you just teasing me because you had to same my tail, because I didn't know I could fly?}} You said
{{Maybe, anyways just free the other humans, and tell them to try to free others. The sooner we do so and leave the area the better, you may as well tell the humans to do that too. I'll talk to the human here real quick and do the same, and spread out to cover more ground, not that it's needed considering our size.}} Stalker said
You nodded and went off to free the other humans.
About 90 minutes later
{{I think that's all of them, so what now?}} you asked
{{Well aside from the incident here, I guess I should take you to my cave, there's another cave nearby too which can be yours.}} Stalker said
{{I don't know why but I'm hungry for some reason.}} you said
{{Then hunt something before we leave.}} Stalker said
{{Uhhhhh....How?}} you asked awkwardly
{{FOR THE ANCIENTS SAKES JAGGED WHAT THE HELL IS WRONG WITH YOU!? WHAT KIND OF WORLD DID YOU LIVE IN BEFORE YOU WERE HERE!?}} Stalker said then growled
{{One where humans didn't hunt, or hunter nearly as much as needed considering that hunting is actually a hobby from my world.}} you said, and Stalker face palmed, or face clawed.
{{Well if your instincts don't do it I guess I'm just going to have to show you then.}} Stalker said
