"What are you talking about?" David scowled, then added, "And next time, you might not want to be burning your incense in front of the door..."
"You were the one who just burst in here," Kelly growled furiously. "You ruined EVERYTHING!"
Kelly was obviously pretty pissed off and chased David out of her room before he could even remind her about school. With her in that mood though, he wasn't about to push his luck.
"Still," he grumbled to himself as he left, "it's her own fault for having that junk all over the floor..."
David grimaced, not giving it much more thought as he had to rush off to school. Fortunately, or perhaps unfortunately, Kelly somehow made it as well, however she didn't seem to have forgotten it at all and was still mad at David. He just didn't understand why though as all he'd done was knock over some candle.
It didn't take David long to put the whole incense and smoke thing out of his mind. In fact, by the time that he had arrived at school, he had almost even forgotten exactly why Kelly had been glaring at him on the bus.
While David was sitting in first period, his friend Josh, who was sitting right beside him, leaned over and whispered, "What's up with your sister? She really looked pissed at you this morning..."
David just shrugged. "Who knows."
Josh shrugged as well and went back to pretending to pay attention to their teacher. David let out a yawn, glanced at his friend and then did the same.
When first period was over, David started walking down the hall to his next class when he suddenly felt a cold chill rush over him. He looked up.....
