The building looked almost like an odd governmental building, and there were desks everywhere inside. "C'mon kid, almost halfway now." Lawson said and you followed him to one of the desks. The desk had a sign that read, "Mage Servant Admission," and Lawson walked up to the desk, and said,"Excuse me, I want to register this young boy here as my servant." The man behind the desk looked at you, and looked to Lawson and said,"That boy looks young to be a mage apprentice's servant? May I speak to him alone briefly while you wait a few steps back?" Lawson nodded and stepped back, and the man looked at you,"For young ones like you we have a quick survey that we administer beforehand just in case of any suspect in abuse. First question, is your service to the apprentice willing? if so why?" The man asked
"Well, yes, he saved me from life on the streets. You see I am an orphan, and the orphanage I was at abused me to the point where I had run away. Mr. Lawson found me on the streets and wanted to return me to the orphanage immediately, but shortly after I did the orphanage was shut down, and so he offered me a home, food, and water, if I became his servant and so I accepted his offer out of desperation, and he has not treated me with nearly as much harm since then." You said making up a lie.
The man nodded,"I see, then all has been answered then." The man said then turned to Lawson,"Apprentice you may return here!" The man called to Lawson and Lawson returned to your side. "Everything seems to be confirmed, I just need to know the servant's name, and everything will be finalized." The man said. "My...name?" You said confused and afraid, and Lawson swiftly followed up with,"When I first met the boy he exclaimed that he wasn't given one, but I've been referring to him formally as Dravern." Lawson exclaimed, and the man behind the desk was writing something down on a paper. "Everything is in order then, you are now apprentice and servant." The man said, and Lawson nodded and said,"Much appreciated, we'll be off then, and thank you."
