After running into her home away from Harold, she closed the front door behind her and barely made it to the living room before she collapsed and started to cry. Why was this happening to her? Sure, she had an interest in her new neighbor, but she had no idea things would progress this far. Now she was a suspect. A suspect in a very serious case. Her heart, her livelihood, and even her freedom were all at stake. She knew that she could lose it all. Would anyone believe her? The detectives didn't seem to, and she wasn't able to speak with Harold either. The school board had put her on administrative leave, and there was so much she wanted to do with her students. It all seemed like her life was unraveling before her eyes.
Fatigue finally hit her body as she managed to pull herself up on her feet. She stumbled into her bedroom, the trials of the previous night taking a toll on her mind and body. She removed her robe and changed into her were tigress fursona as she collapsed on her bed. She crawled towards the head of the bed, only to curl up in her favorite sleeping position. She felt herself starting to nod off as a replay of the previous afternoon started to play in her head.
She remembers the fight with Alice Decrux. She remembered Alice punching her in the nose, which triggered her fight or flight reflex. She growled at Alice, destroying whatever clothes she had as she changed and sprung towards her. At the same time, she remembers Alice also changing into her raccoon fursona, and the two of them fighting on Harold's lawn. It was then that Harold approached the two, trying to stop the fight between her and Alice. It was then that Virginia remembered Alice stretching her paw towards his leg. At the same time, Dean was calling out to Harold to step away. Virginia reached her paw to stop Alice, and it was at that point that things slowed down. Virginia managed to swat Alice's paw away, only for Alice to grab a hold of Virginia's wrist. She could feel Alice's fingers pressing into the pads of Virginia's paws, causing her claws to involuntarily pop out. Alice then pulled Virginia's paws up towards Harold's leg and...
Virginia shot up and started to growl. Alice made Virginia scratch Harold on purpose. Fur started to stand on end as anger filled Virginia's body. Daylight or no, she had a mind to go over to Alice's place and rip her throat out. How dare she cause Harold this pain. How dare she cause this misery on Virginia. How dare she. But, as much as she wanted to get revenge on Alice, Virginia felt the fatigue on her body go through her as she lay her head back down. She growled a little to signal her anger, though. There was no way that Virginia would let Alice get away with this. Not with the man that she loved.
