Tad and Amy lead Jay and Leon back to Tad's house. Tad opened the door and let Amy lead her brothers toward the back door of the Decker house. Their arrival alerted Jen, who had was doing dishes at the time. In fact Tad could hear the sink running as he entered his home and shut the door behind him. Jen came around a corner from the kitchen to find herself facing the newly transformed Jay and Leon. She looked to them and then to Tad and Amy as they came in behind them.
"I take it they transformed earlier than expected," Jen spoke carefully as her eyes moved between Jay and Leon and then to Tad and Amy.
"Yes... yes they did," Tad commented, "though... thankfully they did fairly well..."
"And we look good," Jay said proudly to Jen.
Jen gave a very understanding smile as she looked down on them. That reminded her of Tad's own happy confidence after he had his first transformation. She remembered seeing Tad stand beside his father, Jeff, with a happy smile on his muzzle. It was a happier time and seeing Jay and Leon smile in the same way left her with some very wistful memories for those happier times in the pass.
"In the meantime," Tad spoke, "Amy and I are giving these two some time to exercise and enjoy their new wolven forms."
Jen nodded and stood by while both her son and his girlfriend undressed. They both began to transform as they did so, which mean that any and all nudity was not something most normals would be truly offended by. While one could find all the relevant parts of anatomy on a naked were in his or her fursona, it wasn't quite as obvious as it was on a naked human. A were covered in fur, which would often either cover or at the very least conceal things unless you were looking closely and looking specifically for things. Black fur covered her son while white fur covered Amy. They rose up onto digitigrade paws with sharp non-retractable claws on their hands and feet.
"Going out for a run, then?" Jen asked as Tad's face pushed forward into a wolven muzzle with his black triangular nose matching his black fur almost perfectly.
"Pretty much," Tad answered and rubbed the top of Jay and Leon's heads with one paw as he looked over to Amy with a small smile.
Jen managed a small smile as she looked to Tad and Amy with Amy's transformed brothers. In a way it reminded her of how she had felt with Jeff. She knew that Jay and Leon were Amy's brothers, but with them standing with both Amy and Tad, it created an image that Jen partially wanted to see. A happy family, a family involving her son, and a family that reminded her of how things looked when Tad was growing up, back before Lionel Ulysses killed Jeff and when her own heart felt at ease.
"Well... I suppose I'd best leave you to it," Jen commented with a warm smile, "let them burn off all that energy that has to have been building up..."
Jay and Leon gave a cheer to that and moved toward the backdoor. Tad and Amy slowly followed them, though Tad turned back to Jen once he reached the door. He looked to Jen with a fairly warm smile before he spoke.
"The original plans I had with Amy are pretty much a wash now," Tad said to her, "as we can't..."
"I'm well aware of that," Jen answered calmly, "though not that that is necessarily a bad thing."
"Right..." Tad said weakly, "anyway, we'll probably take Jay and Leon in a wide loop and come back. We'll probably be back well before my curfew... as Jay and Leon and are younger."
Jen nodded, "Just keep them safe, Tad."
Tad nodded and then headed out, shutting the door behind him as he went. Jen didn't follow him outside, but she did move to a window where she could watch the four werewolves disappear into the woods. They did so at an even jog and Jen could see Tad interacting well Jay and Leon and both youngsters looked well. So, while they may have transformed earlier than expected it was clear that the advice Tad had given the Howlers had paid off. That made Jen smile.
"You'd be proud of him, Jeff," Jen whispered softly before returning to the dishes.
