As the second period gym class at Moon Lake Middle School was starting to come to a close, Martha Anderson found herself standing where she had been before the lock down of the school yesterday, timing students and making sure everyone was still present while Katherine "Kat" Johnson ran around the main school building with them.
"You know, it's a shame," began Kat, now standing next to Martha after completing her last lap. "My assistant comes back next week from checking on her mother, which means you go back into the substitute teacher's pool."
"At least until I pass my recertification test this spring and get assigned back to the elementary school level where I have the most experience."
"Well, I'll miss you," said Kat, as the students began to file past her to go inside the girls' locker room to get ready for their next class.
Martha actually blushed at that, before saying, "Just because I won't be working here doesn't mean we can't see each other."
"I'd like that," said Kat with a smile.
"My husband William has totally accepted my bi-ness, which is why I became a werecat in the first place. But if you're ever interested in a threesome..."
"Sorry Martha, but I'm strictly into ladies," said Kat.
"No problem. I get my me time too. Or should I say my meow time," Martha joked.
Kat, being a weretigress, just smiled at the joke; while both ladies looked forward to the next opportunity to taste each other's cream.
But instead of filing past them to go into the building, one of the students stopped in front of the ladies.
"Yes Miss Oldman?" began Kat, staring at the girl before her.
"I was hoping to talk to either you and/or Mrs. Anderson," began Suzie Oldman.
"About what?" asked Martha.
"You both showed great courage yesterday, when we went into lock down, so I was hoping you might be able to help me with a... personal problem," admitted Suzie.
"And what would that be?" asked Kat, as both women eyed the young student closely.
"Well..." began Suzie. "Even though I'm only 13 right now, my mom keeps talking about how, sometime after I turn 14, I'll have my first transformation and will become a beautiful were-mink just like her. My parents have also already made... arrangements with this young werefox from our neighborhood to help me," she said, making air quotes around the word help. "The problem is..."
After a moment of silence, Kat prodded, "The problem is what?"
"I know your first time should be as special as possible, but I don't like him and I don't want to be with him. At least, not that way."
"I see. And who would you like to be with?" wondered Martha.
"My best friend, Elizabeth," said Suzie without hesitation. "She's a werevixen and I love her, but I'm not sure if she feels the same way about me. I don't know how to ask her if she'd be my first and help me with my first transformation when the time comes, let alone how my parents will react when they find out I don't like boys. Do either of you have any advice you can give me?"
Kat and Martha stared at the young girl, wondering what to say to her.
