Dawn and Ethan have been enjoying each others company for several months now.
Their union was made like all unions at the dorm. By lottery.
The world had changed and there was no more commitment by means of love. Couples were made at random and at the university when they would learn about each other and find their goals in life.
Now Ethan was from a quite large family.
His lineage showed several multiple births. Not a single birth in the last 5 generations had a single child born to the parents. And Ethan hoped that he would continue the tradition.
Now Dawn had also come from a large family and her family also showed multiples for 12 generations.
There was almost no chance they would have a single child when they got pregnant.
Now it wasn't normal for the couples to have sex and become pregnant before they graduated and got married but there were some that did produce children prior to completion of the courses.
And Dawn and Ethan were one of those couples.
Dawn hadn't even noticed that she was pregnant. She started putting on weight but just thought that was the freshman 15. When she kept getting larger and having strange cravings she went in to be checked and found out she was 6 months pregnant with 5 babies.
She about fainted.
Ethan was excited and scared.
They arranged to be married quickly but realized they still had more than three years left of school.
Dawn found her calling. And it was a breeding machine to Ethan. But they couldn't take care of all these babies and adopted them out year after year to barren families. Little did these families know what they were getting into with the fertility of Dawn and Ethan's children.
