The red-tailed hawk quickly flew from the stunned grasp of Kylie as her eyes widened in shocked. It began to fly around the room haphazardly, blindly looking for an exit from the indoor human dwelling before unexpectedly re-forming back into a Diet Coke can...which promptly landed on Laura's head.
"Oww!" she yelped, grabbing the can of soda as she rubbed the bruise on her forehead.
"Guys, what the hell was that?" asked Kylie with a quiver in her voice, taking the soda from Laura's hand. She was shaking slightly, never having witnessed something so bizarre.
"Um" said Tony, eyes looking sideways.
"Er..." replied Laura in kind, neither one knowing how to broach the subject of Kylie's powers.
"Lets just forget it happened, OK?" suggested Tony, who with a wave of his hand, gave Kylie a "calm her down" spell.
"I-I guess" replied the beautiful girl, sitting down on the couch with her two roomies on the far end, with Laura sandwiched in the middle.
"Whose up for a Friends marathon?" clapped Tony the young magician.

MEANWHILE...
Kylie's magic was beginning to spread all over Glendale.
When she left her mother's house, she didn't notice as the years on Samantha's venerable face began to fall off, as did the other accouterments of her mother's aging body.
When she had driven past a front yard filled with three playing children, she didn't notice the young tots begin to gain the atavistic characteristics of crocodiles.
When she gave a friendly wave to her neighbor Wendy, Kylie was oblivious as the fellow young woman painfully transformed on the street into a loud and ugly troll, a warlike simpleton armed with a club and ready to use it.
None of these things registered to Kylie, who had forgotten all about her past as a terrifying sorceress.
