...him to look different. He isn't bad looking, just sort of average. Brown hair, brown eyes, a big nose, and sorta on the heavy side. Not fat, but chunky. I figure he's maybe 17, with a lot of acne.
I watch him a moment, memorizing his features. Then I start off easy - with a little concentration, his skin clears up. He doesn't seem to notice, except that I guess he sees me looking at him. He stops, looking a little puzzled.
While he tries to figure out why I am looking at him, I take off about 15 pounds, trimming him up lot, and altering his closes to fit. He still hasn't noticed anything.
I smile and wave. He looks confused, but starts toward me. As he gets close, I turn his hair red and make him pale-skinned with lots of freckles. His nose shrinks to an upturned pug type, and his teeth get bigger. He blinks eyes that are now bright blue, and scratches absently at bigger ears that are sticking out from hair that is long and messy looking.
"Uh, do I know you?" He still hasn't noticed anything! "Do you go to my school?"
I decide to do something he'll have to pick up on. "Not hardly! Do I look like I go to Junior High?"
He frowns. "Junior High? What are you talking about? I'm a senior!"
"Really? I thought you were about 13." As I say that, I imagine this homely, slender, red-haired kid as a 13 year-old. It is fascinating to watch the years melt away - he loses almost a foot in height, and the scraggly goatee he had disappears.
The kid's eyes widen, and he stares up at me in confusion. Then he looks down at himself. Finally, a change he notices!
