Derrick started to shift uncomfortably as he watched his body continue to succomb to the effects of aging. He was beginning to look just like his Dad! Not wanting to age another bit, he continued to look for a way out and noticed a mismatched tile on the wall to the side of the steam pumps. The tile appeared newer than other tiles and lacked the mildew of the surrounding tiles. Derrick reached out his hand and tapped the tile and was surprised as a secret door pushed open that contained a red button! Thinking the red button was an emergency shut off valve, or an alarm Derrick quickly pushed the it. But to his dismay, the steam pump began to hiss nonstop and the room began to get hotter. He could see the temperature gauge above the mirror was steadily increasing from 107 degrees and it was increasing a degree every few minutes. As the room got increased in temperature, so did the amount of perspiration that was seeping out of his pores and leeching out his youth. Trying to push the button again to deactivate the steam yielded no different result as the pumps hissed nonstop. The only thing Derrick could do was watch in horror as he peered into the mirror and watch has more of his hair fell out of his head and more of his hair on his chest and scalp turned gray. At this point his back and knees were starting to have a low throb and he attributed it to his older age. He got close to the mirror to better see his face. He noticed he now had crow's feet under his eyes, his forehead had permanent crease marks, and even his teeth were yellowing and starting to look worn. He watch as his nose and ears appeared to grow, bring with them extra nose and ear hair that was visible. His eyebrows began to turn gray too and were becoming bushy. Derrick was starting to look less like his dad, and more like his Gramps! The room was not 120 degrees, and looking back in the mirror was a 65 year old man. DING! Derrick heard the sauna treatment alarm go off and the pumps finally stopped. A few minutes later he could hear the lock unlatching.
