Finally able to tear themselves away from each other sexually, Eric Anderson and his fiance Julie Stovall got dressed and went back downstairs to start tackling their homework together in the Anderson family's dining room.
Although the couple couldn't resist an occasional kiss and a lot of hand holding, for the most part they were able to concentrate on their homework, which is where Martha Anderson found them when she came strolling into the house well after 5.
"Hello kids," said Eric's mother with a smile on her face, but her son didn't want to find out if the smile was because of seeing them or somebody else.
A "Hi Mom," and a "Hello Mrs. Anderson," greeted her as Martha approached the table.
"Hello yourselves. How was your day?"
"Fine," replied Eric, while Julie simply nodded in agreement. The fact that the two were still holding hands under the table wasn't lost on her.
"Where's your brother?" asked Martha.
"Alex's. Something about homework and Mrs. Ramsey wanting to talk to him."
"Oh? About what?"
"No idea," admitted Eric.
"Well, it can't be anything bad, or his parents would have contacted us first. Are you staying for supper Julie?"
"No ma'am," replied the teenager sitting next to Eric. His parents knew that Julie was Eric's girlfriend, but only the were-mers and Nate knew that she was also Eric's fiance, as signified by the single pearl necklace Julie wore proudly around her neck. "Eric will be walking me home, if that's okay with you."
"Sure," called out Martha, as she went into the kitchen to start preparing dinner.
Eric waited until they were alone again, then leaned closer to whisper in Julie's ear, "I wonder who she was with today?"
"Does it matter?" Julie whispered in return. "She's happy. She's home. What more do you need?"
"Just you," said Eric, giving Julie a quick peck on the cheek before returning to his homework.
MEANWHILE...
♫"Another day older and deeper in debt,"♫* Lila Carpenter** sang to herself as she approached Samantha Twist's office at the Moon Lake Town Hall.
As she entered, Lila saw the Town Chancellor's secretary getting ready to leave.
"Is Samantha still here?" Lila asked the woman.
"Inside," she replied, indicating Samantha's private office.
"I'm ready whenever you are," announced Lila, entering. The assistant budget director wasn't surprised to see Samantha's wife Frances already there.
"Good," replied Doctor Twist, while Samantha was gathering her things. "You sure you don't mind doing this?"
"Mind? I think it's sweet," replied the buxom lady. "This guy's waited all this time to become a were and finally be with his wife? He must really love her."
"He does," said Samantha, heading out from behind her desk to join the others. "Unfortunately, Marci Green is a sister werecat like us, so she couldn't do the honors without Ted becoming either bi or outright gay in the process***; but he wants to become something feline based so they can still have children," she finished explaining.
"Don't worry Samantha. When I'm done, Marci Green will be the proud mate of one happy weretiger****," promised Lila, as the trio started to walk out of Samantha's office. Yet, I wonder if this Marci wouldn't mind giving me a little werecat honey in return, or sharing some tasty tiger cream afterward?
