Mardi Gras was a night for boldness, one of the few days of the year where one can act without inhibition. Abby and her friends wanted to do something really exciting for this night. Of course, there would be plenty of dancing tonight. And there definitely was a lot of it. The fast-paced music gave plenty of tempo for the girls to dance to. But after the long amount of dancing, they needed to stop and rest their muscles. And there was one place which would be a good place for that.
The hot springs were a great place for relaxing muscles, especially after a hard workout. The heated water boiled away the aches in your limbs and the steam cleared your sinuses. Abby sometimes went here after her triathlon training to relax. There was a certainly big enough hot springs to fit all five of them. Well, four of them in this case. It was Malice's suggestion that they should skinny dip considering it was a night of inhibition. However, Sophie wasn't quite secure enough to be bathing in the nude with her friends, especially since they were so much more developed than she was. Even Jessica was a little shy about being naked with her larger friends. So eventually they compromised with Sophie having the closest hot spring to herself while her Animalian friends shared one of the larger ones.
"Oh, man, this feels good," said Abby with a sigh as she relaxed in the water, "I didn't think dancing could be so tiring."
"It's just as much an exercise as running," said Jessica, trying not to look directly at Abby's bare chest. Abby's fur didn't do anything to hide her nipples. In fact, her dark brown nipples were pretty hard to ignore on her large breasts. Sarah and Malice weren't much better. Their fur was usually thick enough enough to keep their nipples obscured, but the water matted their fur enough to make them easy to see. It didn't really help that Malice was occasionally groping her own chest even though Sarah made her put her hand back down.
"You ok, Jessica?" asked Sarah, noticing Jessica was averting her eyes.
"Well...I'm just not used to this kind of casualness," admitted Jessica.
"Really? You've been an Animalian for a few months by now," said Abby.
"Well, she's still a single-doser while we skipped ahead two doubles," said Sarah.
"Not to mention she and Roger haven't actually mated yet," said Malice.
"Mary Alice," said Sarah in a warning tone.
"What? I'm just saying she's taking it slower than the rest of us," said Malice.
"And that's perfectly alright," said Sophie, "No one should be need to be rushed."
"Thanks, Sophie," said Jessica. She admitted to herself that another reason she was uncomfortable with her friends' nakedness was how comparatively slight her own body was. Well, she was certainly well-developed for a 14-year old. She had modest hips, a rounding bottom, and her bra size was more than double with what she had before. She definitely showed promise of blossoming into as impressive a figure as her friends. Though she might not be as driven to build up her muscle mass. She'd rather have a leaner figure than an amazonian one.
"Kind wished we did have swimsuits though," said Abby, "But the only one I have right now is the one I've been doing my swim training with."
"That tight one-piece?" asked Sophie, "That looked pretty uncomfortable."
"Well, it's made more for hydrodynamics than comfort. Not to mention that when I got it, my parents weren't wanting me to expose too much of my body," said Abby, flexing a bit for emphasis.
"Well, they're definitely playing a different tune now, aren't they?" said Sarah.
"Yep, I'm going to get to show off my new swimsuits at Mieni Atoll," said Abby happily.
"I can't believe we're going to be spending spring break there," said Jessica giddily.
"All expenses paid too," said Sophie, "Running our webshow comes with a lot of perks."
"I just hope it's not too hot on that island," said Malice, "My fur is meant for snow, not sand."
"If it gets too hot for us, we can always go inside to cool off," said Sarah, "But I think we're gonna have too much fun to care."
