Colin picked up the backpack with a rocketship emblazened on it.
"By doning that pack, you have accepted a mission that, should we be successful, will take you to the final frontier." Donavan said.
"You mean... space?!" Colin asked.
"Correct." Donavan said with a chuckle, "Allow my wife to explain."
"Your wife?" Colin asked.
"Of course, she's heading this mission." Donavan said as a springy ginger walked up. Her back held a compound bow in plain sight.
"Alright men, listen up!" the woman said.
Colin and two larger muscle men stood at attention.
"Intel has revealed the existence of a spacecraft at NASA with enough supplies to last us about a year... enough time to deploy these!"
The red head dropped a large black case, about 10 fet long and 3 feet wide.
"What's in there?" Colin asked.
The woman walked up to him, "You'll find out when we get there... alright men, gear up and move out!"
Colin equipped two pistols, a shotgun, and a katana, and joined the rest of the group as they headed for NASA HQ.

They had spent about 10 hours hiking towards their destination, and decided to set up camp for the night. Colin was checking his guns to make sure he was ready for a bimbo attack. The other two were looking over the map to find the best route to travel in order to save time. Colin was about ready to see if there was any food in his pack when Donavan's wife called out to him and the others.
"Guys! Soup's on!" the woman yelled out as the group headed by the campfire.
Colin was handed his paper plate, and simply gazed at the wriggling, purplish-red mass.
"What's this?" Colin asked.
"Wild grubs, wild berries, mashed together. Raw protein and nutrients, eat up." the woman said.
Colin grimaced as he chewed the live insects he was ready to spit them out. He begrudgingly swallowed and said ....
