Ty set his backpack in a little hole at one of the large black tables of the science lab where science class was held. Mr. Fitch, an old man who always chuckled when someone asked a question said "Alright class... Today we're going to be doing a special lab. Today you and a partner will be given 6 different bottles of an unidentified aqueous chemical. It's your job to figure out what exactly are in these bottles. Anyone want to guess how we'll figure out what is inside each bottle?"
Collin a big blond jock raised his arm and asked "We going to drink them and find out through taste?"
Mr. Fitch chuckled and said "Don't be ridiculous. Outside of a food kitchen you never want to taste what your working with in science. So many dangerous chemicals that could do so many things to your body, but don't worry class these chemicals are dilute enough that they shouldn't hurt you that much as long as you have your goggles on... although you still don't want to drink them... Now then anyone else have a guess?"
Bridget an Asian nerd with a bit of acne, and some cute glasses said "We have a book showing the reactions of all the possible reactions we could have. All we have to do is mix each chemical together and then compare all the results, then use logic to figure out what is inside of each of the bottles."
Mr. Fitch nodded and said "Correct, just remember a few things. You can smell the scent of these reactions, but not directly. Waft the fumes with your hand. Also remember that while you should touch the test tube for exo and endothermic reactions you shouldn't directly touch the solution." You sighed looking around at the other teens partnering up together. You wished that with this chemistry you'd be learning how to make age potions, or something that would grow tits or something.
