Melissa looked into the contorted face of Mandy, once her boyfriend Manny, now begging her for help in relieving the massive sexual tension that had gathered all evening. Mistress Kira had ordered Mandy to beg her ex-girlfriend to make love to her, and told her that if she could not convince Melissa she could go without an orgasm that night.
Manny hadn't always been the most considerate of lovers, and Melissa remembered nights when she had fallen asleep frustrated. She considered getting revenge, but with both the Great Change and the New Years holiday it seemed a time of forgiveness and renewal.
"OK" she said "But a little privacy, maybe? And that means privacy from Kira."
"M-mistress?"
Melissa shook her head. Everyone had changed since the Great Change--being attracted to women was certainly new to her--but some, like Mandy, had changed more than most.
Kira nodded. "Certainly, if that's what you want." She clipped a leash to Mandy's collar and handed it to Melissa. She whispered in Mandy's ear "You serve Melissa now." Mandy, unable to speak, just gave a little throat noise. "Through that door." Kira gestured to Melissa. Melissa gave the leash a tug, and Mandy followed obediently after. Kira smiled. She had always suspected that Melissa had potential as a dom, and nothing about her attitude and body language gave Kira any reason to change her mind.
15 minutes later the party was counting down the new year. As they reached zero, the heard the loudest, most ecstatic scream any of them had ever experienced coming from the room where Melissa and Mandy had gone.
"Happy New Year" Kira shouted.

Logan and Allison had decided to give the parties a pass and enjoy a Star Wars marathon together. They engaged in a little friendly debate over the great issue rocking the fandom, whether the movies should end now, whether they should continue with CGI actors inserted in the place of the actors who no longer existed in the same physical form, whether they should be remade from the beginning with all-female casts, or whether the current films should be considered canon, with a change like the Great Change rocking the Star Wars universe after Force Awakens, with an in-universe explanation. Logan believed that the series should end, that Star Wars wasn't about an all-female galaxy and CGI actors were lame. Allison thought that a Great Change could fit into Star Wars canon, and anyway Marcy Hamill was incredibly hot.
Logan recalled the many conversations he had had with Alan before the change, how he had felt closer to Alan than to any of his girlfriends, and how many times, when conversations seemed to be getting too close and too personal, Logan or Alan, but most often Logan, would say "no homo" or something similar. Now her best friend was also her lover, her warm and lovely body cuddled against Logan. For the first time, Logan was actually glad of the Great Change.
