You ignore the two paths and instead look at the trees. There is fruit in the high branches. But how to get at it? You could try to climb, but that would be hard. You sit there and think. That fruit is up there....fruit and nuts. It's mocking you. An intense need comes over you. You have to have them somehow!
You start to climb. Surprisingly you are able to climb the tree easily, the claws on your fingers finding a grip. But you slip down. Your shoes won't do here. You kick them off and carefully make sure your toe claws grip the bark. You scurry up to the top of the tree, and then you realize there wasn't fruit up here. But acorns. HUGE acorns.
Acorns! So many acorns so little time before winter!!! You don't know where this thought comes from, but it makes sense. You need to store up or you'll regret it when you run out of food.
"Wait. Food??" You blink looking at the acorns. You then realize you are high in a tree. You sit on the large branch, conflicted. What do you do?
