"Let's go see Kalren, maybe there is a clue of these anomalies, and maybe I can return home, to normal." You say to Daze. Daze groans in disappointment, "Aw, you don't wanna be a dragon like us? Okay." He then regains his positive voice, "But if you want to, when we find the answers, I can train you to be the best dragon knight like me!" You chuckle at his invitation, "Thanks, but let's just find the answers of these anomalies first." Daze then instructs you to go to the tower field w/ his directions. That's where Kalren and the barracks are at.
Arriving at the barracks, there were two guards protecting the entrance to the barracks. You then stop at the gate halted by the guards until Daze spoke from your back, "It's okay you guys. He's with me." The guards nod and stood aside as you walk in. In the area, they were practicing on one area, the other socializing, and the other sleeping/napping. Until you reach a different spot in the barracks noticing dragons and humans wearing robes made for sorcery. In the middle of the group of students is Kalren. A blue anthro dragon wearing a different color of robes marking him a teacher or the eldest of knowing magics he knows and teaches them to his students who learns in the ways of magic. Knowing you'd be sleeping in class of boring lectures like mathematics, and Scientology stuff, probably in Magic, might be different.
... You now have thoughts of staying in this realm after finding clues about these mysterious portals that cross your world and theirs. After Kalren's class, and dismisses his students w/ some homework, Kalren turns to look at you and Daze and greets Daze first, since they're good friends. "Daze! How are you doing?" he asks with a smile. Daze then climbs off your back and on to the ground to give him a hug with a reply, "I'm doing well my friend." They then release the friendly hug as Kalren notices you now. "Oh, who is your friend?"
"This is Dave. He is new in Castrumiel. And by new, I mean one of your studies about these mysterious portals that he unknowingly traveled."
Kalren was amazed and goes walks up to you, and introduces himself, "Well hello, David, as you already know by Daze, my name is Kalren." you then bow in respect and reply, "Nice to meet you, Mr. Kalren."
"Oh no need for manners like that my friend. Any friend of Daze is also my friend." He then turns around and gestures you to follow him to his quarters, "Anyways, I would like you to follow me so we can discuss this in private, you, me, and Daze." you comply with a nod as both you and Daze follow Kalren to his home. After following him to a tent that is to be his home, Kalren allows entrance for you and Daze first and go inside. As you enter the tent, you then realize that it is very spacious on the inside. Breaking the laws of physics and what not as Kal's (his shorter version of his name) tent is a huge library. Reminds you of one of the tents in a Harry Potter book, but this was bigger.
"Like my humble abode?" Kal enters and walks past you as you still look up at the looming book shelves. Daze chuckles w/ his arms across his chest and tells Kal, "I think you broke his mind, Kal." he also chuckles too, "It happens when my new students come into my studies too, so I am not too surprised." Daze then calls out to you, "He David, if you are done being in awe, follow us!" you then snap out of it and follow them, leading to series of corridors of book shelves and book shelves until there is a bed and a desk stacked with scrolls and books, along with an inkwell and a quill on the side. Kalren then goes to one of his personal studies stack of books on the right hand bed and looks at you, realizing your size and form might knock over some shelves and ask you, "Should we teach you the basics of shape shifting clothes mending, or will you try to control yourself in that form and tell me your story so we can get to the bottom of this?"
