It was hard to believe that Easter was only one week away, but fortunately the people who were enjoying their Spring Break at Mieni Atoll made it home on Saturday. This enabled them to help plan the Animalia Easter Exposition.
---
The plan was to have the Exposition span the entire week leading up to Easter Sunday, but the Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday would be preparation for the Exposition proper. The Living Dioramas would still go on, because they would help people and Animalians understand the Jewish and Roman cultures during the time of Jesus.
During the Animalian Faith Formation Classes, there were some discrepancies noticed in the telling of the Passion of Jesus. So, as part of the Exposition, historians and theologians would help to explain things.
---
The hen Animalians were contributing their unfertilized eggs for dyeing and decorations, but there was a problem. Conventional Easter egg hard boiling and dyeing was only for eggs the general size of golf balls, not eggs the general size of human heads. The solution was to use large pots, usually used for cooking large amounts of spaghetti, to boil the eggs and to use paintbrushes to decorate the eggs with dye. This would lead to an art competition for hard boiled Animalian eggs, as well as Animalian Foeberge eggs, which would inspire several hen Animalians to make their own Foeberge egg shop.
---
There would also be an Easter egg hunt for the young ones, with Jessica and Roger playing the part of an Easter bunny couple, while the Meat Market at 32nd would be having a more adult entertainment for those over the age of 21, especially a more sexualized version of an Easter bunny couple performance.
---
During the Easter Tridium, there would be a performance of the Passion of the Christ at the Great Hall, which would do its best to include parts from all four gospel stories. While during the Easter Vigil, there would be a special showing of Christ's resurrection.
---
On Easter Sunday, there would be a great Easter Feast, along with showings of common Easter television specials. There would also be exhibits on the origin of certain Easter icons, such as the Easter bunny. There was also planned several displays on Christian relics, such as the Shroud of Turin.
---
All in All, the Animalian Easter Exposition would do a great job of living up to the Knowledge is Power themes of such Expositions, and also serve as preparation for the IAC.
