Aldrik feels a little unsettled after receiving the glare from Kim. He grabs the dice from her hands and looks around, feeling a little sorry for both you and Ian as you two seem to have had the worst deals. "Well, I can only hope these cards don't ramp up." He says as he cups the dice and rolls. The dice land on a 2 and 6. "8! Uh, that puts me on.. Another blue..!"
Everyone looks to the board as the collared token moves forward, and the virtual deck flips a single card. "You've been left alone, at least so far. You'll see things differently when you raise the bar." "God, now what the hell does that mean!?" Aldrik says as the rest of the table now watches him, looking for any changes.
For a moment nothing happens, but then Aldrik groans as his vision blurrs and he takes his glasses off. "Agh, my glasses are killing me, what's wrong with them?" He asks no one in particular as he rubs his eyes. As he pulls his hands away, it reveals his changed eyes. His eyes have changed colour to sky blue, with a slitted iris. "Oh.. Wow, Everything looks so differently..!" He says, his new vision tinted with gold. He glances around and out the window, finding that he can read the sign across the road with perfect clarity. As he looks back to the table, it seems to have grown a little fuzzier, forcing him to twist his head so he can look at things with one eye. Apart from his eyes, his touch, taste, smell and hearing also improves to levels beyond human.
"Ok, this is not so bad.. I could live with this!" I say as I look at the dice with one eye, grabbing them and handing to you.
