Good Morning from Pennyford Farms!
Since our last news letter we have seen the continued progress of breeding Prince Daniel with numerous mares. He has exceeded anyone's expectations as his sperm count remains five times that of any other Dartmoor stallion yet tested.
Prince Daniel's breeding card is filler 18 months in advance. Even more remarkable is the stallion's conformation as even with his great amount of activity he continues to look both handsome and healthy. His daily activity includes covering three mares per day and does this six days a week.
During the past ten month several sound brod mares have come into our possession. A new stallion named Style Finder has joined the stud and we expect great things from him over the coming months and years.
The increase in stud fees has not effected the general total of mares being refered to our stud. A fee of 1700L is now charged for the services of Prince Daniel while we plan to ask for 500L when Style Finder is ready for to begin his work.
The worldwide demand for sound pony stock has increased six fold during the past two years. Our Dartmoor stud and the neighboring Exmoor stud has orders upon orders for ponies.
