You jump up and stand up on all fours. You're back in the cold metallic room you dreamed about.
Your eyes focus on two objects on the ground in front of you. To the left is a terrarium filled with rats. Their mad squeaks echo within the room. A lone female is at the bottom of the pile, mouth agape panting like a dog.
To the right is a small round container. From above you can see two roaches in the right confines. They're attached by the rear ends. One of them flutters it's wings in a useless bid to get away.
The details of your nightmare rush back to you.
Oh no, this is no nightmare. Waking up back home was the dream!
You look down at the vomit in front of you. In the middle lies the half digested remains of a fish, half of its skeleton exposed.
