The kitsune carried you into a small cave with a nest made out of straw, and put you down on the ground in front of him. "Welcome home, you can sleep with me for now." The kitsune said, and you looked up at him feeling a bit shy.
"What's wrong?" The kitsune asked
You hesitated before speaking, and then said,"Well...it's just...I don't know what to think of this whole scenario here."
The kitsune looked at you with a look of concern, and then back to calm. "I can see why you might say that, it's been a rather small time knowing each other. You probably felt pressured back there when you answered the question about me becoming your father didn't you?" The kitsune asked and you nodded.
"I suppose that this is going to take time to get used to, but I'd like you to know that I'm really not as bad as you think I am." The kitsune said
"Uh...umm," you responded puzzled
"What I mean by that is that I read your mind. Ultimately, you fear me, but you shouldn't. I am your father and as such will treat you like my own kits, and I would never harm you out of my personal rage, and if I do then I apologize infinitely." The kitsune said
"Y...you read my mind?" You said shocked
"It's one of many abilities that you will be taught by me, and once you're older you will know everything that I do. My name is Fared and it has been mine since birth, do you want me to give you a name to commemorate your first day of your new life?" The kitsune, Fared asked
"Hmmm, sure my human name really wouldn't work now." You said
"Alright, then your new name shall be Xaro, meaning what you humans call "reincarnation" but in simpler terms, and it's a name for kitsunes as well." Fared said
"Uh thanks, but what do I do now?" You asked
"You are impatient and energetic I see, maybe you can make friends with one of the animals that wanders into our enclosure, or maybe we can do something together for the time being. I don't mind if you even just run around in circles until you tire yourself out, just try to enjoy yourself as much as you can son." Fared said
"Okay, I'll see just play outside for now dad." You said, and you saw Fared grin slightly when you called him "dad."
You ran outside, and began exploring the habitat around you, and thankfully it was set us so that you could interact with as much as you can possible. There was targets for shooting magic at, there were dog toys that were untouched mostly, and then you could show off to all of the humans watching you. There were more things around you too, but you couldn't really use them unless you had a friend. You had Fared but he has taken the role of father now, but maybe you could ask him to come play.
