Easter was pretty busy for Jessica and Roger. They were able to hide all the Easter eggs with no problem, though not in place that kids wouldn't be able to find them. But after the big Easter egg hunt, all the kids wanted to meet the Easter bunnies or have their picture taken with them. It didn't matter to them that they already knew who Jessica and Roger are. In fact, that seemed to make them more desirable to meet and get a picture with.
But eventually, they were able to get away from the kids long enough to meet up with their friends. "You sure seem to be popular today," said Sophie once Jessica and Roger got to their table.
"Almost makes me wish there was a holiday that spotlighted dogs," said Sarah.
"Or horses," said Abby.
"It's a little overwhelming to be honest," said Roger.
"But it's nice to see those kids so happy," said Jessica.
"You think you two will be Easter Bunnies every year?" asked Abby.
"I think it might change. We're the most prominent rabbits right now so it made sense for us to be the first choices," said Jessica.
"I wouldn't mind doing it next year though," said Roger.
"We'll need bigger outfits though," commented Jessica. As single-dose Animalians, they hadn't completed their growth to full maturity yet. And if any of the other Animalians are to judge by, they've got a lot in store for them.
"So are you going to do this for the whole day?" asked Sarah.
"Just until the early afternoon," said Jessica, "I think everyone will have had their fill by then."
"Speaking of which, you should try some of these salads," said Abby, "They're almost worth giving up all meat."
"Almost worth?" asked Roger.
"Well, there are times where I still miss the taste of a hot dog or some ribs," said Abby with a sigh, "But when I think about eating them now, I just feel nauseous."
"There are a few times I miss eating a nice apple," said Sarah sympathetically, "I mean, I suppose I might be able to eat one now, but I don't think I'd really get anything from it. Plus I have to do plenty of exercising to make sure I don't gain any weight from my diet. Not that it's not enjoyable, but I have to constantly remember how many calories I'm taking in a day."
"One of the reasons why I haven't gone Animalian yet," said Sophie, "I like being omnivorous."
"Well, as fun as this had been, we need to be getting back," said Jessica, "We'll see you girls later." With that, she and Roger went back to the admiring fans.
