Kayla turned her back and let James there eating on what was there for him. She went over to the other part of the tent, near the desk where there was a pile of old books in which she had used to practice her spells. She remembered the talk with her father as he gave her one time when he went outside of the tent.
flash back- "If he was a simple talking raccoon, then there will be no deal. do you understand me, Kayla? if he never was a human, then he can't make us turn him back into one after he accomplishes his part of the deal."
she didn't got it at first as her father scratched his long goatee and gave her a wicked smile. "But he was a human!"
"We know that, but what if he doesn't?"
flash back over- she couldn't believe that she was going through with this as she was going to follow the others. she soon got her wand out of her pocket and read the spell under her breath while she turned around and pointed the want at James.
"oblivious vidis, buffis semper" she said.
A bright light quickly filled the tent. when the light dim down that James was confused with what was happening. In his mind as all the memories of his life passed in front of him. his mother, father, first birthday, his elementary bully giving him an Indian burn.... his raccoon brother and sisters, wait what? That wasn't right, or was it as James kept on trying to remember more and more. his forest home, his raccoon mother, even the first time he was chased by a wolf. He had... he had always been a raccoon for as long as he could remember. That was it, James had always been a raccoon while thinking about being a human, nothing else.
