Nick and Riley were amazed as they got off the ferry onto the dock. The Beach was littered with bungalows of varying sizes. Large trees lay beyond the housing, hiding the interior of the park with only the peaks of the roller coasters and a few of the other rides sticking out of the canopy.
Nick smiled at his friend Riley as they stood in line, waiting to be checked in off the dock and onto the island. Riley was 12 years old, a year older than Nick, but in the same class thanks to the weird school system. Riley's brown haired head towered 6 inches over Nick's blond spiky blond haired one.
"I Can't believe your crazy step-mom let you go, I figured she would try her best to keep you from having any fun this spring break." Riley conversed as the line slowly moved.
"Same here dude! I can't even believe she found out about the place and asked if I wanted to go. I thought it was some sort of trick or maybe military school, but now that we are here I can see everything was true!" Nick Replied.
"Next Group Please!" One of the attendants behind a bamboo desk called to the boys.
The two walked up and handed him their tickets.
"Welcome to the Island of Fun boys! Here is info on your stay and your room keys, just take a look at the printout and follow the directions to find where you will be staying. And remember, have fun!"
The boys thanked the man and walked to the crossroads before checking out the printout.
Riley spoke as he read, "Looks like..."
