"...human!" Kyle said, "As fun as it would be to swap your limbs out for a dog's or something, it just wouldn't be the same if I altered you too drastically. This is supposed to be a lesson in humility, after all, not a freakshow."
Jennifer growled, "Kyle, when I get my hands on you..."
"Good luck trying!" Kyle interrupted, "Because from now on, you're going to be reduced to crawling everywhere! For your transformation, your legs will no longer be able to support your body weight standing up. In fact, while your body will remain unchanged in appearance, it will now work best when you are on all fours. Even something as simple as sitting up without your arms supporting you is going to be a challenge, so I can only imagine how difficult other tasks are going to be for you to accomplish. But don't worry; reality will change so that everyone but you and me thinks that you've always been like this, which might change your social standing at school, but it'll at least save you the trouble of having to explain your new posture to your friends. And speaking of which, your dare is that you have to keep coming to school, but you can't use the curse on anyone but me, and when you do, you can only dare me to clap my hands once. See you at school, Jenny!"
It was only after Kyle hung up that Jennifer thought to hang up the phone herself. Thinking to herself that this whole curse business was ridiculous helped her to push her remaining worries away, and she decided to continue getting ready for school. However, it wasn't long before her legs started to feel weak.
"Ow... w-what's going on?" she muttered to herself, as her legs trembled from the strain of staying upright. Feeling dizzy all of a sudden, she attempted to make it to her dresser for support, but only managed to take a single step before her legs gave out and she dropped to her hands and knees.
Jennifer took a moment to catch her breath on the floor, then tried to stand back up. She managed to get her feet under her, but when she tried to take her hands off the ground, she was only able to remain crouched for a few seconds before she lost her balance and fell on her hands again.
"No, no, no!" Jennifer said to herself, the fear from earlier beginning to return, "I can't believe this! The curse is real!"
