John came walking down, enjoying his new body. Roger had everything John had ever wanted: money, power, and a fabulous body. Now, these things belonged to John. The down side was that he had to pretend to be Roger, but he didn't mind doing that for a while. Graduation was coming up, and Rogers grades were going to do a little better.
"Hey, roger," Bruce said, "It took all night, but we broke the spell on the Dean. It wasn't easy, and it isn't good news for John."
"Why is that?" John/Roger asked, already knowing the answer.
"Well, we could fix the Dean with the help of some of the teachers," Bruce replied, "However, to break all the other spells we will have to undue the spell done on the book. According to our sources a side effect is that whoever cast the spell will be an inanimate for a long time. Roughly one year for each person his spell was used on, and from looking at his room that will be at least twenty years."
"Well, after what John did I think he deserves some time to think about it," John/Roger replied, doing everything he could to be serious. Although, inside he was enjoying how long Roger would be stuck as a jock strap. Luckily, he had prepared for all of this. When he switched bodies, he ensured that his original body would be the one to pay for his crimes.
"Well," the Dean said as he walked in, "I think you deserve an award, Roger. For stopping John, and for working to reverse the spell."
"Really?" John asked, "I don't think I deserve one, I only did the right thing." Inwardly John wanted to throw up, but he had to pretend to be Roger. Everyone would be suspicious if he acted like his true self, instead of the friend everyone knew.
"You do deserve one," the Dean said, "And I'm going to ensure you get it."
