You woke up with blurred vision, and confused you tried to stand, but you felt weak and could barely keep your balance even on six legs. When you dropped you groaned, you noticed that you were in a nest, and you heard scratching footsteps coming towards you, and you saw another lizard creature like you walk into the cave. "You're awake, finally." The creature said
"What happened? Where am I? Where's Cody?" You asked
"Cody? Oh, wait you mean that kid that told us about you, he's fine. You've been in a coma of sorts, and you've been out for a few months." The lizard creature said
"Months? Oh fuck what happened?" You asked
"Well, the things that made us like this said that we're all good to come back to earth. So we did and now a lot of us are starting new lives. They said that you were sedated heavily despite the fact that you were just acting on instinct, and weren't being aggressive. As for Cody, he luckily found his parents, and we know because they smell alike, and they're no longer human either." The lizard creature said
"Well, what do we do now?" You asked
"From what we know, we just do whatever we want until we get new orders. Nobody here really remembers their names or anything about their lives. Hell the only reason Cody reunited with his parents was because of scent, and he's the only one who remembers anything." The lizard creature said
"Lucky him I guess, he was really worried so I'm glad that their all fine. So where are we?" You asked
"We're all in a large cave, and it's actually pitch black for humans, but clear as day for us oddly enough. There's hundreds of us now honestly, and we all live and hunt like a pack. Some of us have even been mating with others and...well there are some who are both mothers and fathers, and of course we are reptilian so we lay eggs. We're all herms too so there's that, even Cody so he's all fine." The Lizard creature said
"Who are you?" You asked
"We call each other by our subject numbers, I'm 362 what's your number?" The lizard creature, 362 said
"56 is mine, and from what I'm aware of I'm the first successful subject." You said
"That's what we've all gathered too, so that's good to know. For now though, how do you feel?" 362 said
"I feel weak, I tried to stand but it was hard, I could barely support my own weight for more than a few seconds. Besides that I've been out for a few months as you said and haven't eaten or dunk anything since then so yeah there's that." You said
"I can imagine, also those scientist things said that we have an estimated lifespan of 9,300 years or something in that range. Also when I said some of our population found mates I mean most did, aaand lot's of our species is really fertile right now, and lay eggs in less than a month. Of course those eggs haven't hatched yet, but once you get back up on your feet then maybe you'll find someone to mate with." 362 said
"Yeah, I don't know why, but that sounds kind of nice to me." You said
"I'll see if I can hunt something for you, but take note that a lot of what we find is insects really large insects like scorpions and other things." 362 said then left
